Discovering your spark

With tears in her eyes Ritu came home. Seeing this her mother asked her very lovingly the reason for these tears. Ritu said that the no one believed that she could do anything outstanding and always doubted her potential and strengths. 

This was very excruciating for Ritu after all belief is a thread that can do wonders. 

Her mother realised what the problem was and lovingly she said, "Ritu, we all are the children of God. Each one of us has a hidden talent. We all have a spark in us. Realise what your passion is and burn the midnight oil to achieve your goal. As far as other people are concerned, isolate yourself from them. You are the author of your life. Write your life so well that the ones who have condemned you will regret it. Remember, you are born with goodness and you have wings. So, you are not meant for crawling. Spread your wings and soar in the infinite sky. People will try to cut your wings but it's entirely up to you whether to cut them or fly higher. Break the barrier of self doubts and make a place for yourself in the world. Believe in yourself girl. You are much stronger than you think because you are made up of STAR STUFF".Ritu was highly inspired by this. 

She decided to look into herself and search for that hidden spark. Days and months passed and Ritu now had turned from coal to diamond. Can you guess what her passion was? Yes, it was writing. She wrote many poems and stories which motivated people. She wrote a book on her journey and it instantly became a national bestseller. She was called in the Literary club to deliver a speech. 

Ritu was on cloud nine. She had never felt satisfied and blissful as she was feeling now because she had discovered that spark within her. Instead of being discouraged because of others she had found a new version of herself. She had transformed herself from a bud into a flower, from a sapling into a tree and found the joy within her as she strived hard to turn night into day. 

Ritu looked in the mirror and just uttered three simple words 'I love you'.
