‘We are not going to go back to “normal”. As we witness old systems of power crumble and new priorities emerge we’ll see what’s truly valuable, and from there, create a new normal.’

With despondency all around as the world comes to a stand-still, with the architecture of gloominess overshadowing the sanctuaries of humanity, when everything seems to be shrouded in a mystery when the mind is conscious of what is at stake, and a visual stimulus is so readily available, it triggers such unbearable, unfathomable anxiety that at that moment, composure is hardly a peripheral virtue. It is then, that ignorance becomes bliss.

Of course, you can dismiss it with whatever adjective, but one thing is for sure. For the first time, all humanity has felt PAIN together. There are strange stories floating around this pandemic which I won’t mention here as I have mentioned it in the title once and moreover, the world has been cursed by it right now. Quite honestly, there is no idea of giving credence to these stories as it will serve no purpose. However, we will find it extremely excruciating to also put them out of the mind, so perhaps let it be unsaid.

Coming back to the pain, everyone is reeling under it within their own capacities. We have no idea when this will end, as everyone across the world is projecting their own thoughts on the same, how to reduce stress, steps to work from home, fitness tips from home, escaping the depression, etc, etc. I have always believed that no matter how hard you try, the force will never take us to places that flowing will take. I know it is better said than done, and I also know that the path isn’t a straight line, it’s a spiral. An entwined web that continuously teaches us to come back to things we thought we have understood and see deeper depths. This is that time.

To conclude, I would like to quote a couple of lines from Alan Walker’s Famous song, Different World;

“This is not the world we had in mind

But we got time

We are stuck on answers we can't find

But we got time”
