Holding Hands

Hope sets the tone for a moment of divine intervention in a world crashing down and falling apart all around you. When we are walking through times of despondency and anxiety desperately seeking answers in the wrong places. It's easy to lose sight of what is important in life when all seems lost and the courage to keep moving forward is like a dimly lit lamp about to be blown out at the slightest brush of wind. The fragility of our belief is at stake and darkness gripping with every moment passing by. The strength to walk alone becoming lesser. The legs are about to give up.

But then you see a little break in the clouds and a tiny ray of light seeps through. Suddenly you find yourself moving toward it, and you wonder how a broken vessel such as yourself could possibly be drawn to a little light after spending what seems like an eternity in your own darkness. You had become so used to it and just on the verge of giving up. But as you start moving towards that dim light, you realize your spirit is drawn towards it, where it has always yearned to be. The pull is so strong that the legs cannot stop. Once you find yourself out of the darkness and into that dim light, the weight of the sadness, anger, hurt, bitterness, confusion, and everything that landed you in the very depths of hell and darkness, no longer linger in your heart and mind. As if the dim light, soaked every bit of it. 

That moment, the heart and the mind are one, and we belong to the universe. We get all the answers without a word being said. We are holding hands with the divine. The sensation can be felt in every part of the body. It's the sweetest feeling as we are no more alone. We have found our companion and now we walk the path together, Holding Hands...
