Ravi brought the end of roll near his tougue and gave it a gentle lick. The he checked for ross and tabbed it till stuff inside the paper compacts. After rolling the tip of joint, he gave that to Dave. Dave, who was hiding his face behind long hair, took the joint without hurting it’s filter and lighted it’s tip. He took his long first puff and said, “She maybe an angel”. Ravi, who already finished two joints, smiled and tired to talk but he stopped. Ravi took another puff, “otherwise, why should she do that?. Ravi gathered all his energy and asked, “Did what?”. Ravi leaned from his easy chair, passed the joint to Raghul and replied, “She did what god wanted her to do. She worked for god, you know, that’s why she is an angel”. Saying this Dave turned toward left, Ravi was just smiling. He was not interested in Angel or in her act of God. He was in his dream and exploring the work beyond his imagination. Dave looked at Raghul, he was busy enjoying his puffs. He cared less about Angel than he cared about next puff.

Now he want to talk to someone who is not high and can bear him and Angel. He received the joint from Raghul and puffed. Ravi Interpreted, “It’s my turn, Dave”.

“Well bro, you are on. I thought you were in your dreamland”.

“He is. But he is on enough to get his turn”, Raghul commanded.

“So you both were hearing me?”.

“Off course, we were. We just don’t want to hear about angel again. Shit is getting crazy”.

“What you mean by crazy?”.

“Bro, It’s been four months since you saw her. We don’t even whether see is in the city anymore”, Raghul replied.

“And the crazy part is Angel is not even her real name”, Ravi supported Raghul.

Dave laid back on the easy chair, took a puff and returned Ravi’s turn.”Just don’t lay down man. Order something. I’m hunger”, cries Ravi. “No worries bro. I will cook something”, Raghul tried to get-up. Dave dragged him down and said, "no need, I have ordered. Food will be here. Just bring some water”.

Ravi said to DAVE, “We are just trying to put some sense in you, bro”.

“You sound like my dad, bro”. replied Ravi and Raghul laughed.

“Fuck you bro”.

“Fuck you too”.

Raghul came with water and received the joint from Ravi. Dave took that from him saying, “My turn”.

Dave took a puff, “I don’t think she left the city”. “What makes you think that?”. “Lockdown”.

“Maybe, where did you say her?”. Dave gave a confusing look Ravi saying, “I told about her a thousand times still you don’t know where I saw her”. “In Gandhi hospital talking to your cousin”, Raghul replied with a proud face. Dave smiled with pride and passed the joint to him.

“Then why don’t you ask to your cousin for her details”.

“I tried bro. The address she gave was her old one and phone was her friends”.

“It’s weird, man. Why would someone will do that?”

“Do what?”.

“you know. Admit someone unknown, wait until she recover and leave without telling anyone”. Ravi asked.

“That’s why she is Angel, bro. Came from nowhere to help and left after her act is finished”, Dave replied.

“She must be rich. Rich people do these kind of shit once a while, just to get ride of guilt of being corrupt and rich”, Raghul gave his conclusion.

“Whatever it may be. I can feel her near me. I’m pretty sure I will find her or she will”, Saying Dave lighted a cigarette.

The next sec someone rang the bell. Guys cleared everything and Dave went to open the door. Ravi wished the person was her. Dave opened the door and was speechless.

“Da myre, what are doing here?”. It was Sam, Dave’s college-mate. They have did many things together. Sam knows about Dave more than anyone else, even more than Ravi and Raghul.

“I’m delivering you food.”

“Get in, man”.

Sam came in and Dave introduced him to everyone. Raghul passed the joint to Sam. He took his first puff and asked Dave, "What's up, man?”. “Nothing much. Tell about you. How you got into this?’’. Sam took next puff and replied, "hit happened, man. I will tell you later”. “Fine, man”.

“Let’s eat”, Ravi opened the parcel and started serving. Raghul started the conversation, "well, Angel…”

“Which Angel?”, Sam interpreted

“You don’t know, man. He saw a girl Four months before in Gandhi hospital and now he is crazy about her”. Sam smiled and asked Dave, “same Angel?”. Dave noded. Ravi asked, “Do you know about her?”.

Sam took a puff, raised his head, looked at Dave, Ravi and Raghul and said, “That’s not his Angel and this is not his story?”.

“Then whose it is?”.

Sam replied after a small pause, “Mine. She is not Angel but a Devil”.
