Last week me & my wife shifted from Varanasi to Delhi after I got a better job opportunity in Delhi. Unlike Varanasi we found people more reserve here, everyone seems to be busy with their hectic schedule & the normal life is too fast when compared to Kashi Nagari.

Me & My wife decided to go on evening walk daily, as the culture of 'evening chai-pakora chats with neighbors' doesn't exists here.

On the 3rd day while jogging we noticed a lady in her mid 60's wearing a green saree & a white sport shoe was jogging in the same park. 'who wears a saree with sport shoe' said my wife slowly but the distance between us & the old lady was so less that she heard her clearly. She stopped for a moment but then continued jogging.

The next day while we were jogging, the old lady this time wearing a black saree & same white sport shoe greeted us with a warm smile. She came near & asked 'you people are new here right'?. 'Yes last week only we shifted here from Varanasi' told my wife. 'Oh! Kashi Nagari, it's great, My husband love Varanasi'. she invited us for evening snacks, We hesitated first but told yes due to her generosity.

The next day when we went to her home my wife enquired the old lady about her husband. The answer that she gave made our eyes wet 'My husband died 6 years ago, he bought two pairs of shoe for both of us to start jogging, but the same day he got cardiac arrest & died, I kept my pair with him during his cremation while I use his pair of shoe for jogging, it gives me a feeling that everyday he walks beside me holding my hand'. Both of us looked at her, there was no pain on her face instead there was a smile 'A Smile of True Love'.
