 A mother with her kids were entering the theatre to watch a movie. She had an elder daughter almost the teen age and a younger son. They both sat on their respective seats. The movie started and was going well. Then came a comedy scene and everyone in the theatre were laughing. Also, the mother and her two children were laughing. Daughter was also laughing very freely and this man near to her bent ahead of his seat and peeped at her for a while as she was laughing. That creeped her out and she stopped immediately laughing. She then zipped her jacket up and sat quietly. After few minutes again, a comedy scene came this time she didn’t laugh and just sat emotionless. She was watching out for the man who creeping her out in the next seat, she became very cautious about that. Her Mom noticed this and instead of creating a scene and making her feel guilty she at the right time held her hand and whispered in her ears “It’s all good don’t worry, I am there.” This brought a big smile on her daughter’s face and both enjoyed the entire movie.

Sunaina didn’t sleep the whole night. She took care of her father by lying down next to her. Her dad slowly got up and wiped his tears and looked at Sunaina. Sunaina woke up by some movement and looked at him. He got up and went to his room. Sunaina was sat on the couch for a while and then got up and went to her room. She locked the door and went inside her bathroom. She then looked in the mirror. She saw a Sunaina which was faking herself to project something else about her to other people. She slowly removed her clothes and went to bath. After having a bath, she again looked into the mirror it was hazy, she then cleaned it with her hand and saw herself in the mirror. Something was different. She was clearer about her consequences that had happen so there was some brightness in her that radiated that now she has the time to change her future. She started to admire herself and that felt more peaceful. She changed her clothes and got ready as pretty she could be. She got ready and came out of the room and saw that no one was in the drawing room. Her Dad was still in his own room. He had locked himself inside the room, she realised. But she didn’t give up hope she waited didn’t eat anything that whole day. It was evening and yet her dad didn’t come out. She was angry and couldn’t bear to see her dad like this. She saw the wedding card on the floor and saw the address. She searched for her dad’s keys and packed it inside her purse with her house keys and drover herself to her mom’s wedding. She reached the location and parked her car. As she came out of her car everything fainted her in front her. And as she walked inside the hall, she couldn’t hear the band or people laughing and shouting. She sobbed as she was walking towards the stage with rising heartbeat. Laveena and the groom were clicking the photos. They were happy and smiling. Laveena’s smile suddenly fell off, as she saw Sunaina who was sitting alone and looking at her. Laveena saw she was crying and her mother saw her grandchild Sunaina. Laveena’s younger sister got up and asked Laveena that was she invited? Laveena looked at her scared and said no nodding her head. Sunaina sat for some time and got up and walked away. Her aunt came followed her towards the exit she stopped Sunaina. Sunaina was angry and with tears rolling said “Get lost and don’t ever come near me I don’t know you”. She boarded her car and drove away from the hall. She was crying and tensed as she was driving. She stopped near a small store and bought a pack of cigarettes and drove near a sea face. She started smoking in the car for a while opening all the doors. And remembered how good were those days when it was just simple family thing. Then she started remembering all the bad times slowly and steadily that changed the whole dimension of togetherness. She came out of the car and sat near a rock smoking near the sea. She then stopped and wondered, realised that how good her dad is. He doesn’t invade her piracy but surely concern when there is a problem or when something’s not right. What could more be a family if a person or two care about you. She then stood up and puffed her last smoke and throwed the pack in the sea and went inside her car. She drove home and gave the car keys to the guard and went inside her house. She slowly opened the door and went inside with much deep thought and wanted to tell something. She came near her dad’s room which was still locked. She sat near the door and called out her dad and placed one of her ears close to the door. He didn’t reply but still she could identify his breathing. Sunaina sat down and started talking to her dad through the closed doors “Dada I know that you listening, I am going to tell a hell lot of things when you weren’t there for me and also things that I am going to do expecting you to be there for me. Firstly, dada when you scolded me to talk about a boy, I liked I became angry and that lead me think that you were now invading in my choices and my decisions. So, I changed thinking that was needed in my life to grow. Yes, I thought roaming with boys and going for parties was cool and young. But that became even worse when that boy who was my boyfriend for a year or two broke up with me that I wasn’t yet open on my own legs. You know why? Because at that time also I thought about you I didn’t want to end up in a failed relationship yes that was my ego and attitude. That eventually lead into bad habits because my friends left and it was a blow on relationship truth which was brutal and almost didn’t care of what was happening to me or my body. Yes, even I was lonely and walking on a street where there was darkness. I was smoking till today, Till today. Then I saw my mom getting married to some other guy and I have to start believing that she is not my mother anymore? But it gave me a good listen that sometimes by being good and honest doesn’t seem to be a happy place but yes it makes people together. Dada, I love you and I need you to bring me up from this cruel world and whatever happens it's you and only you that puts a smile on my face. And I promise we are always together me for you is always you and me. Dada dada please open the door please, I can’t miss you for so long. Dada…!” Both were close to the door and weeping. Dad quickly got up and open the door and hugged his daughter, kissed her on her forehead and hugged her tight. After some time of hugging both felt they were hungry. They smiled and went to the kitchen started making their dinner at 1 clock in night. After the heavy meal was prepared, they ate and being tired of eating both just fell on the couch and placing their hands-on stomach they were full. They were full not just by stomach but also by heart.

Next, morning Sunaina was getting ready to go to college and she looked at the mirror. She thought about the events that took place last night when she finally decided to change and be more responsible. As she combing her hair her dad came near her room and knocked at the door. “Beta you are getting late for your college na come fast.” She said “Come in.” Her dad opened the door and looked at her and smiled. She was lost in her thoughts and he realised that. He stood behind her and took the comb from her hands and started combing her hair and spoke “Sunaina all events happen in everyone’s life if we didn’t have shame committing that we shouldn’t be crying about it when things don’t go as planned that doesn’t mean it has stopped.” There was some enlightenment on her face by listening to some much-needed advice. Her dad then caught her by her shoulders and said “Now get up and fight your demons because you’re pretty it might blush now.” Both laughed for a while and then together went down. Boarding the car both of them went on their way to the college. She reached the college and went to her class. On the way everyone looked at her after the earlier turn of events that had taken. But she didn’t care and sat down on an alone bench and paid attention to the class that was going on. This went on for some days and due to her changed behaviour, everyone in the class felt that she is not the one with the attitude now because she eventually became silent. One of the class representatives sat with her during the lunch break and started talking to her. “Hey Sunaina how are you?” Sunaina smiled at her and said “I am doing good Fathima”. That one smile conveyed that now she wanted true friends and Fathima saw the same. “You know right you have the prettiest smile I mean seriously I would go on crushing over you.” Sunaina blushed. “You had your lunch?”, Fathima asked. Sunaina said no. Fathima said let’s have then. Sunaina said “But where?”. Fathima said “Why are these home boys here for oye Dhinesh idiot fellow what you brought for tiffin?” Dhinesh turned behind as he was sitting with Arjun, Kanishkar, Arun and said “Come here elephant eat…!” All of them started laughing even Sunaina was laughing slightly. Fathima ran to his bench and gave Dhinesh a knock on his head. Sunaina was looking at them. Fathima saw her and called out to all her friends “Listen my darlings she is Sunaina ah well new one forgetting all the best let’s welcome her in our group. All the boys were excited and called “Why not?” Arun said “Well now at least one woman in the group.” Fathima pulled out Arun’s cheeks and said “I will kick you on your back now.” Dhinesh called Sunaina said “Hey Sunaina did you eat lunch come have here”. Sunaina smiled and came near their bench and tasted one of them and slowly talking began. It’s always said that to become friends and to get real friends for fact “Just Start Sharing Food.” The gang became very close and inseparable. Sunaina also started bringing tiffin made by her dad and all used to love it. Her now best friends were living in rented houses as their home town was out of Mumbai. Arjun, Arun, Dhinesh were roommates while Kanishkar was staying in Mumbai itself. All were simple no high expectations from life Fathima taught Sunaina cooking because after her Mom and Dad died, she was living with her grandparents for so many years. Fathima’s main pillar of strength was her brother Ajmal. He is an Engineer and currently working in Dubai. He comes to Mumbai every month and looks after his sister and grandparents. Fathima became very close to Sunaina they eventually became sisters. They used to study full night at Fathima’s house mostly because she couldn’t leave her grandparents. She would help Fathima do her house works. The group was simple and now Sunaina was learning that how even these years her friends were struggling so much with normal lifestyle but the smile and the value for togetherness never changed. This also caused its own trust issues with her new friends or anyone who wanted to be her friend, different kind of rumours when she used to walk with any boy or someone just saw her standing beside a boy rumours were passed all over around but at this time of moment, she didn’t care about it at all. Well, she knew her story her friends knew her story but others don’t everyone had their own story and it isn’t business to know it without a cause. Years passed, four years of engineering and placements were done. Everyone got placed in good companies coincidentally Sunaina and Arun were placed in the same company and all else weren’t that far though. Dhinesh rejected the offer because he wanted to be an entrepreneur thus was planning for the start-up very much early. Graduation Day came and Fathima got the best student awards for highest Cgpa and Arjun got the Student of the year for been active in all the co-curricular and curricular activities and cgpa tie up with Fathima. The whole gang was happy they clicked photographs and Fathima made an announcement that her brother was getting married in a month so the whole group should be there at the wedding. Everyone shouted of course. Seeing Sunaina smiling turning to be a very nice girl now her dad became emotional. Tears of happiness just came from his eyes. He stood proud keeping his chest upwards and called Sunaina. She looked at him and came near him and then her dad gave her a big hug. Both were happy. Sunaina was now bright and energetic to what all the life was going was bring for her.

After few months, Sunaina was now a big lady her hair was styled for the working environment she had bought new formal clothes to go to work. She packed her laptop the required files for the first day and came outside her room. Her dad had become older thus kept a personal assistant to remind him of his medicines while at work. She kissed her dad while going. As she came down just then Arun came running to her and asked can we go together? She readily said yes and both were standing for a cab. Arun realised that he was waiting for a long time and asked Sunaina can we take the public transport? She thought twice but then she also thought if she says no then he might think I am still a baby and cannot handle myself. And she said yes. Arun was happy and told her, since it’s your first time remember keep your hands to yourselves and your legs alert it’s Mumbai everything Is crowded and also everything is fast, ok. She nodded her head. Arun then called an Auto and both boarded it and went to nearby railway station. They both came out of the auto and Sunaina was shocked to see soo many people here. In her whole lifetime she hadn’t seen soo many people. Her mind froze but then Arun caught her by hand and took her inside the station. As they came near the ticket counter Arun asked her to wait near the pillar while he comes back bringing the ticket. She was standing alone and she saw everyone how are they were coming in crowd and entering the trains. Pushing fights shouting she saw how bold the women were to push into the compartment. She then started reading the banners placed on the walls. Pictures of few people climbing on the trains and then catching fire due to high voltage electricity current touching them. As she went on, she also read the articles where people were falling of the pavement to railway tracks and losing their lives. This made her even more scared. Arun came bringing the tickets and both went for the platform where the train was going to come. They were standing on the platform waiting for the train. The train was approaching. Arun told Sunaina that she will be going into the ladies’ compartment so when she hears ******* station she needs to push her way out. To be safe stay near the way out but not much closure. Before even she could think about something the train came and Arun gave her a pat on her shoulder and went to his compartment. Sunaina somehow managed to get inside the train and then was the real challenge to stay. As the train was stopping at each station the crowd inside the train was increasing. There were fights for the seats, very vulgar arguments and of course Sunaina was surprised to see these types of Women here. There station arrived and somehow, she pushed her way out and Arun came searching for her near the compartment. He looked at her face and realised she was angry. This didn’t stop they boarded the BEST bus which was also crowded because of peak office hours. They boarded it and she was standing ahead and he was behind. As the bus was packed everyone were standing very close to each other and Sunaina didn’t like it. The bus stand came and Sunaina was so angry she came down. Arun also pushed his way out and saw Sunaina frowning at him. He asked what happened. Sunaina said “You idiot next time I am never coming with you. Bloody people crouch was getting rubbed on my ass in bus. Good bye.” Arun was puzzled and Sunaina was walking towards the company. Looking at her he realised he was also in the same company so he ran. Inside the company they were told to sit in a different cabinet. Arun came inside and sat and saw many freshers from different colleges and different states had come. After some time Sunaina also came after applying some touch ups, inside the cabin and sat on a seat. She looked behind and frowned at Arun. Arun then looked at her with a surprise look and when she turned back, he then smiled. So, the instructor who was going lead all of the freshers and give training. He first started with the introduction and asked each of them their area of interest in technical field and known programming languages. The first day was cool and Sunaina was very much fed up to travel again using a public transport. She didn’t meet Arun at all, while he was searching for her when the training ended to take her home. By the time he came down the building she already left from the place in a cab. He stood there for some time and then started walking towards the bus stand. He waited for the bus for a while and the bus came and it was crowded. The bus came near the railway station and he got down. He walked towards the ticket counter to buy a return ticket. He started walking towards his platform. He waited for the train. Train came after a while and he went inside the compartment. Luckily, he got the Window seat for a long travel, he sat and was wondering. Obviously, all this time he was thinking what she would be thinking about him he should have talked to her. He then texted her she didn’t reply. He then thought she could have got tired and slept basically she reached her home much early. And then he started imagining her sleeping as he remembered when she uses to sleep in the class keeping her head down on the bench. Slightly disturbance on her face she would slide her hair and then turn her head to the next side. Where Arun was looking at those beautiful eye lids and then slowly looking her complete face. She used to have a bindi on her forehead and those pink lips. He felt a jerk of the train that it had stopped on a station. He realised and got up from his seat and came out of the train. He then walked out of the station and called for an auto. He sat in the auto and told the driver the destination and they took off. While on the way he could see Sunaina’s house he thought to see her and asked the driver to stop. He came out of the auto and gave the money. He stood near the house gates and saw that the guard’s chair was empty and slowly opened the gates. He came inside and slowly closed it so that no one was disturbed. As he turned back the guard was standing in front of him frowning at him. Arun decided to be calm and sound and gently told him that he was Sunaina’s friend. The guard didn’t give any reaction and continued staring at him. Arun was trying distracting him with all his weird facial expressions. Guard then spoke “You maybe Sunaina madam’s friend but why have you come here at this time?” Arun looked at him and broad his chest and said because she is my friend. Guard looked at him. Sunaina and her dad finished their dinner and Sunaina was cleaning the utensils, her dad was sitting on his couch humming some song. Just then they heard the doorbell ringing. Her dad got up and went to open the door and as he opened the door, he saw Arun was laughing and talking with the guard. Arun turned his back and saw Sunaina’s father. There was some time of silence and her dad asked “Who are you?” Arun looked at him because he was very nervous but controlling it he replied “My name is Arun and Sunaina’s friend since the college and we are working in the same company.” Her dad looked at him and smiled and said “Ahh Arun beta, how are you? Sorry I forgot your name of course at this time who comes in?” Arun replied “Uncle am good, I just came by to see how Sunaina was going because in the morning she accompanied me while going to the company by all means of public transport and she quite looked pissed so just came her to see and tell sorry.” Her dad looked at this boy’s charm of talking he literally meant that he cared about his friend and smile and called him inside the house. As he entered the house her dad asked him that what was the reason to go in public transport rather than he can make some arrangement so that two of you can go and come easily. To which he replied “If everything came so easily there is no meaning of achieving something and to be frank uncle I like to travel in public transport because it eventually helps me to know different people from different walks of life and it’s efficient money.” Her dad was impressed and smiled at him proudly. Arun’s anxiety became low so now even he was smiling. Just then Sunaina came by with her soap hands stopping in the middle of cleaning the utensils and as usual Arun re-imagined it in a very romantic way. Everything became slow motion and as she slowly walked close with her hair tied and slowly putting that one hair which was coming in front of her eyes. He was all wooing over her. Then suddenly Sunaina’s expression changed and she was like “Ohh Arun why are you here?” Arun came to reality world and looked at her father and then looked at her. He stammered and said “Ahh Sunaina you you didn’t talk to me the whole day so I just came by to say sorry and you can travel in cab ok don’t take tension and I will come alone.” She frowned at him for a while and then smiled and said “From tomorrow I will come with you and go with you ok. Now go home and sleep.” He smiled and was excited and he said good night to uncle and came out of the house and turned back and looked at her and then blushed again and went down. As he walking out of the bungalow he looked and Guard and said Goodnight and couldn’t stop his smile. At house Sunaina was going to her bed and as she fell on the bed tired, she closed her eyes and was visualizing all her today’s incident and she saw how fast this world was. At home you might be a king or queen but outside you are just one of the slaves of time. Everyone had to look after themselves all by their own and they were strong.

Next Morning, she was waiting down for Arun to come so that they can go to office together. He came restlessly running and saw Sunaina waiting fresh. He stood for a while and breathed fresh air and then called for an auto. And thus, began their daily routine life from morning 8 tonight 10. They would travel, go to office, come back sleep. At Saturdays they would leave office a little bit early so they would meet at a particular place where all their friends would join. Sundays it would mostly be family time. With their impressive performance in the company, Sunaina and Arun got their permanent jobs there itself. They became very busy and didn’t have time to even breath. Lot’s of project management and lots of time spending in front of computer. After a year with his own money and EMI and Car loan Arun bought himself a new car. It was the night before his car delivery that he felt that this would be last time he would bring Sunaina on a public transport. So, with much hesitation he asked Sunaina “Hey Sunaina can we eat out today and let me show some midnight beauty of Mumbai.” Sunaina didn’t hesitate at all and agreed to it as it was Saturday so it would be nice ride. Arun was excited. The office left and he was waiting for Sunaina outside the office. After a while she came and both caught a BEST bus which was double decker. Both of them boarded the above berth and came to the first seat and looked outside the window. They were going to Juhu Choupatty. Sunaina was enjoying the ride as the cool breeze freed the hair and Arun was just looking at her. She realised it and looked at Arun and he didn’t shy and he just smiled at her. The stop came and both got down of the bus. They walked a little to reach the beach. They came near the sea and saw a nice spot to sit and called a person to bring a mat. They both were sitting for a while and then ordered some Chinese and Pav Bhaji and ate to their full. After sitting for a while. Just across the beach was the railway station. They crossed the road and from them took two tickets to reach the Gateway of India. Both entered the same compartment of the train and sat opposite to each other. Surprisingly the train was not crowded at all. Sunaina was staring at him for a while and this made Arun very much uncomfortable. “You have a crush on me, right?” Arun was startled he wanted to shout yes but he became nervous and was like “Ahh not like crush crush but ya I do like you somewhat.” Sunaina smiled at him and said how much do like me say na. Arun nodded his head and blushed and didn’t answer at all. The station came. They got off the train and walked outside to catch a taxi to reach Gateway of India. To which Sunaina lets walk and go. He looked at her and wondered what this crazy woman is speaking walk so long on an empty road. And the whole way she troubled him asking how much did he like her. She would just sit on some pavement and force him to tell. He even left her alone but looked forward all street people were looking at her so we would pull her locking his hand into her. So, finally they reached Gateway of India. And they clicked photos. Arun was secretly clicking some candid images of Sunaina. Sunaina knew this and purposely posed for him. Arun soon realised this and said “Am I joke to you?” They both laughed. Then they booked a cab and were on their way to home. The car took from the sea link and she was looking above and was partially asleep. “You know Arun I have been to all these places earlier but never did I see it, see the beauty of it. I was so messed up within me that couldn’t see the simplicity is something else and it’s beautiful”. While saying this she fell asleep on Arun’s shoulder. Arun looked at her face and slightly shifted the hair from her face and then looked outside and said “You wanted to know how much do I like you right? I love you Sunaina I don’t care about your past and how are you I just love you the way you are. I may have seen these places but something special was with you. The night is just amazing wish I could say this when you were awake but your beautiful face is just the peace of night with a beautiful moon. I wish you open up that eyes and look into it and say how much do I love you”. Thus, he closed his eyes. He didn’t see that Sunaina was yet awake to hear she opened her eyes looked at him and comfortably laid her head on his shoulder and sleep.

The new car had arrived and from that day both of them would go to office in car. Arun was at it’s luckiest. Since his parents also settled with him in Mumbai and they both befriended with Sunaina’s dad. Both of the families became very close. Since, Arun bought his new car so he gave a small party at his house called all his friends and Sunaina’s dad. They had karaoke sessions and he also knew more than dancing Sunaina can also sing. So, he had a plan to take her out for a small vacation to spend some time with her. On one Sunday Arun and Sunaina and all the remaining friends got a call that after much delays Fathima’s brother’s marriage got confirmed and she invited everyone to Kerala since her brother’s was a love marriage and girl is a Malayali. This brought a smile on everyone’s face. Smile because they can get a small holiday to Kerala and second the grand wedding. Sunaina and Arun booked the flight tickets to cochin and Arjun was in Canada for some Game Conference. Dinesh and Kanishkar were in Bangalore for their Start-up recruitment. They all got the message and became excited and immediately booked the tickets. Soon, on Thursday everybody took leave for three days and from morning flight Sunaina and Arun were ready to go. Sunaina was waiting with her bags down her bungalow and her dad was waiting inside the car to drop them. Arun was late and as usual came running carrying his bag. She looked at him and he said “Sorry”. She replied now get in the car fast. They reached airport quickly. Sunaina’s dad bid goodbye to both of them and they went inside. They waited inside for the boarding time. And because of Rain the flight was delayed for 1 hour. Sunaina was reading a book and Arun was reading something on his Kindle. And slightly looking at her. “How should I even say this? I need to talk to her in these holidays otherwise it’s a waste on me”. When Sunaina looked at him he stammered “Ah Sunaina let’s have something to eat in the food court what say?” She closed her book and said ok. They took their bags and went to the food court and were ordering pizzas. When it was the time of the types of pizzas, he started noting what kind of taste she has. It wasn’t the first time he had gone out with her to eat but this time it was serious. And he realised that she was going for the spices and more cheese “Ahh I always knew she is Foody”. When she finally selected the type and looked at Arun and asked “Arun which one do you want?”. He stammered saying “Same”. He didn’t realise that was spicy and he doesn’t like the spicy thing. So, with great difficulty he ate it and didn’t show any emotion to Sunaina as she was enjoying the pizza. After eating the pizza, he went to the bathroom and his stomach had given away it’s strength. He started cursing himself what all should he do for love. Boarding time came and every one went inside the plan. Sunaina was all happy that she was going to Kerala for the very first time but Arun was mostly worried about his stomach. Inside when they sat on their seats Sunaina messaged her Dad and Arun called up his mom. His mom spoke “Have a safe journey and take care of yourself and Sunaina Also I have kept the required medicines in the bag ok and if you feel cold or something just remove the jacket and wear it ok. For stomach upset also I have put the medicine in the bag ok take care and call me once you reach there.” This call was weird because Sunaina also listened to what his mother was telling him. He felt very awkward. And the flight took off.                                                                                              

After few hours the plan reached the cochin airport where for Sunaina it was a fun journey but for Arun it was tensed but nothing was spoilt. They came out the plane and called their parents and called Fathima too pick them up. Fathima told them that she is been waiting outside the Airport leaving all the work back at the place. They both came outside the airport and there they saw Fathima. Fathima came near them greeted them and hugged them and gave a punch on Arun’s stomach. Well, he became angry and uncomfortable then comically gave Fathima a slight knock on her head same as they used to be in the college. They sat in the car and went to the hotel where the wedding was going to happen in three days. Kanishkar and Dinesh were already there and they saw both Sunaina and Arun coming out of the car. They came running and hugged both of them and asked about them. Sunaina asked about Arjun then Kanishkar told that he will arrive tomorrow from Canada. Then they all went to their rooms. Girls had the separate one and boys had separate room. Kanishkar and Dinesh saw the absurd behaviour of Arun as he took too much time in bathroom. Dinesh started “Well Kanishkar you know about it right, that at a time Arun used to have a silent crush on Sunaina”. Kanishkar silently whispered yes…! Dinesh continued “Ya and see his luck both of them are in the same company”. Both of them were talking and Arun came out of the Bathroom and saw both of them talking deeply. He told them “There is something wrong with my health so I will sleep ok and let’s talk tomorrow”. Just then Fathima’s brother came soon to be groom and greeted everyone and wished them a happy stay and come early tomorrow for some help that he needed. All of the boys agreed. Then he went out and closed the door, Kanishkar and Dinesh jumped on the bed facing Arun while he was sleeping. Then Kanishkar started “Well, it’s just a delayed flight and lots of time to rest and you look shit tell us what happened we were also busy in Bangalore so didn’t know about the happenings.” Arun smiled weirdly and continued “Well you see the things are complicated ok. I think it every day that I would tell her how much I love her but it doesn’t happen you know. Even on this trip I have plans to tell her but you know am fedup”. Kanishkar and Dinesh looked at each other and became serious about this. Dinesh said “Well Arun you do know right we left college a long ago so, give me this bullshit dating for attraction scene here.” Kanishkar nodded his head and said “Yeah idiot Sunaina is a nice girl don’t make her go way like that.” Arun looked at both of them and said “Well you people don’t believe me huh I ate spicy chicken pizza before we took off from Mumbai just for her because she likes spicy and yes my stomach has gone away, I hope she doesn’t know about. Aaoo, I think it’s again I will go to bathroom and come.” As he finished saying this he ran towards the bathroom and thud…! Closed the door. Kanishkar looked towards the door and said to Dinesh and said “This guy ate spicy chicken pizza because of her I hope Tsunami doesn’t comes. Remember the last time we gave him some spicy was NEVER...!” Dinesh nodded his head and sighed over the facts.

Next Morning Sunaina and friends went out towards the back waters of Kerala which they had ordered well in advance Fathima couldn’t come as she had work for the wedding. Arjun also helped her as he had arrived at morning and was in no mood to rest or either go roaming. So, to the backwaters were Sunaina, Arun, Dinesh and Kanishkar accompanied with some cousin sisters of Fathima which were of same age there’s. Basically, just two of them. Anam and Farheen. They occupied Dinesh and Kanishkar with their beauty they were already swoon over the sisters. Sunaina and Arun got some time alone. As the scene was very beautiful from the boat. Sunaina looked at him as he was taking the professional photos and she is was blushing and asked him that can he could take her a photo. He stammered and said “Yes…!”. Then Sunaina started giving candid poses and he was clicking the photos. Then after sailing for a while, boat stopped near a bay for a sea food Buffet lunch by the beach. The scenery was very beautiful. Kanishkar and Dinesh had got themselves a good company to spend some cosy times and looking at this as a perfect opportunity for Arun to speak his heart to Sunaina about how he felt about her. Sunaina didn’t disturb her friends but was thoroughly waiting for Arun to speak say something because he was fidgeting with his hands, a body language sign that he wanted to say something. Arun looked at her and thought the same thing, because she was looking at him. Both were looking else and slightly having a glimpse on each other when both of them made an eye contact, they again would look elsewhere. Then Arun looks two glasses of wine on the tray, he rushes there and takes those two glasses and carefully takes it to her. She was standing near the shore feeling the sea breeze. He came near and gave her one glass of wine and then himself took one sip and clears his throat. “It’s a nice climate out here, right?” Arun started. Sunaina looked at him and said “Yes, indeed it’s a beautiful climate after the daily noises of Mumbai traffic this feels peaceful”. Arun agreed nodding his head “Yep...! it’s so peaceful in south. I miss Fathima also but I guess she is busy”. Sunaina said “Ya, Arjun is there to give her a company in her work.” Arun said “Yes, ahh Sunaina I wanted to tell you something ok. And promise this won’t affect our friendship at all. Promise me”. Sunaina began to think “Hmm I know what he is going to speak which he stammers a lot and won’t say let’s just see the fun”. She nodded her head and said “Yes tell me Arun what is it?”. Arun looked at her and looking at her eagerness to know what he was going to tell this made him more nervous. He now just prayed that the boat just calls them and they move into the boat and go back to the room fast. After some time, the boat supervisor called all the travelling people to return to the boat because it was time to return to the shore. Sunaina looked ahead towards the boat and said “Let’s go Arun he is calling ahh you were going to tell me something right. Tell na”. Arun looked at her and said “Ahemm the boat guy Is calling”. Everyone enjoyed the day Sunaina with her beautiful pictures clicked and some peace time, Dinesh and Kanishkar having set their new girlfriends and poor Arun was sitting in some corner and drinking bear alone sighing over himself that love is such a difficult thing. It was twilight till they returned back to the shore and their cars were waiting. Everybody got into the cars and the driver drove them back to the place. They reached they’re by night, Fathima and Arjun were waiting for them. Arjun came forward and greeted everyone. Fathima was looking at Dinesh and Kanishkar with her cousins standing right next to them. Arjun asked everyone how was the day Sunaina said it was peaceful, Dinesh and Kanishkar looked at their girl and said “Happy...!” in chores. Fathima was shocked but cutely she said it’s ok these are my boys and they are not bad. Four of them smiled at her. Fathima smiled told everyone to change and come for dinner. Arjun came near Arun and asked “Bro why are you looking dull?” Arun looked at him said “Well am not just tired you know traveling in boat and stomach is just recovering.”. Arjun knew he was lying so he left him and waited for the right moment to ask him. Sunaina was speaking to her dad about today’s day and she then said bye and cut the phone. She turned towards Arun and looked at his dejected face. Fathima saw outside and the lights weren’t one which were put on for the decoration above. She then called the electrician and asked him to fix the lights. Sunaina looked at Arun and said to herself “Arun maybe shy and very introverted but his love for me is true and he didn’t force me at all about my commitment or anything and look at that bloody face soo much tension he had just to tell how he feels. But I can never get a person like him maybe I will just make him sure about something from my side and then wait and work for the right time to walk with him all my life.” Sunaina started walking towards him and Arun looked at her and his heart started beating fast. She came near to him very much near and caught hold his waist where he was shock and before he could say something Sunaina kissed him on his lips. He didn’t know what was going on for few seconds everything was blank but gradually he started to feel her lips and peace that he was getting. His heart beat became normal and both of closed their eyes and kissed for 5 minutes. She stopped and put her hands-on Arun’s face and smiled Arun gradually opened his eyes and looked at her. Arun said “I love you”. Sunaina said “Hmm It took you a day to say this Idiot. Your silence speaks more that you do with words”. Suddenly the decoration lights were put on and both of them looked up at those lights. Sunaina said “Go get ready and come for dinner otherwise we won’t get anything”. Arun said “Ahh yeah yeah I will come”. Sunaina started walking back towards her room. Arun got a call from his dad and he picked up. His dad asked how was the day today, Arun looked at Sunaina while she turned back at looked back at him and he said “All good dad All good”. Dinesh and Kanishkar were getting ready for dinner and remembered about Arun. Just then Arun came happy and smiling, smiling. Dinesh asked him what was going on and he didn’t tell anything he just smiled at them, both of them and went to bathroom to have a bath. Arjun got ready and thought to discuss about Arun’s earlier behaviour with Dinesh and Kanishkar and came to their room. As he opened the door, he could hear someone was singing love songs. Arjun “Who’s singing?”. Dinesh and Kanishkar tilted their heads towards Arjun and shouted “Arun come fast”. And was wondering Arun’s such a drastic change, how? Next morning everyone had the most pleasant morning and no weather hustles and marriage was soon going to begin. Arun and Sunaina had the most amazing morning with something new were going to start in their life. All was a happy two days of marriage everyone enjoyed to their fullest reliving them rejoice since the college days. On Sunday night the wedding was done every where there were smiles mostly on Fathima’s brother’s face finally got hold of the woman of his dreams. Next Morning everyone had their flight to their respective places to join to work. Next Morning Fathima bid adieu to all her friends and thanked everyone to be present for all these days. Her brother also thanked them and all moved towards the airport. Arjun was boarding the flight to Hyderabad, Dinesh and Kanishkar were boarding to Bangalore, Sunaina and Arun were boarding the Mumbai flight. They hugged each other before going for their gates. While going Arjun, Dinesh and Kanishkar gave Arun a wink all of them raised a thumbs up as he was walking with Sunaina. Arun raised his middle finger and said “Bye”. Arun bought sandwiches for Sunaina and were waiting for the gates to open so that they can get into the bus which travels them to their plane. Gates were open and everyone were standing in the line to move inside the bus. After few minutes all of them were in the plan. Arun and Sunaina sat together. Sunaina made herself comfortable by letting her hair loose and putting her hand beside Arun’s. Then she caught his shoulders and laid her head on him. Arun looked at her and slowly patted on her cheeks. The plane was ready to take off.
