Hi guys, it's me Max back at you with yet another story about our one and only amazing friend, Zack. What did he do now, you ask? Oh, you'll find out all in enough time. He tried to learn to dance for the school's talent show. Everyone knows that dance is my speciality. Zack's better at basketball and guitar.

"Hey, Max the talent show is coming up. You gonna try out for it again," Zack asked, barging in through the front door. "Nope, my ankle's still swollen," I replied, showing him my bandaged ankle. "That's too bad. I'm trying it out this time. Guess what I'm doing!" "It's obvious. You'll play the guitar." "No, I'm gonna dance!" "Zack! Do you want to break your leg again?" The last time Zack tried to dance was when I needed a partner for a competition and he was the only person I found. Oh well, maybe he'd be better this time. I think. I hope.

The next day, I was at Martin's house, to review Zack's dancing. He was, as expected, still sleeping. I got a trumpet and blew it in his ear. "Zack, get up. Your teacher's almost here." "And how would you know," he asked me sleepily. "Because you told me to be here by 8 so that I could see how you dance before she came at 8:30. Well its 8:20, so get out of bed!" As soon as he heard this, he was out of bed and ready faster than greased lightning. It was pretty fun to watch him run around trying to get ready at 6 in the morning, thinking that it was 8:30.

After ten minutes, Ms Martin came into the room and yelled, "What is going on!" Then she saw me, and the condition of the room and said, "I'm not even gonna ask." Once she was gone, Zack said, "Why hasn't anyone woken up yet?" "Because it's 6, not 8. Gotcha!" "Oh come on Max, let me sleep!" "Well now that you're ready, we can start practising. Get to the garage!"

Once I dragged him down to the garage and got everything ready, we began. "Ok, the first thing to do is warm-ups," I said. "Yeah, yeah whatever just play the music and prepare to be amazed." "But Zack, if you start without doing warmups, you're gonna get hurt." "Alright," he said, did one jumping jack, and started the music. "Fine, you're gonna get hurt, not my problem," I muttered.

Zack started his routine. The second the music began playing, I knew I was in for a long time teaching him before the real teacher arrived. His song was 'Last Dance' by (G)I-DLE. Now if you know that song, you'll know just how hard it is to dance to that. The beats are fast, the music is loud, and you've got to be a really good dancer to be able to do it. Come to think of it, trying to dance to that song is what injured my leg. And I'm definitely a better dancer than Zack.

"Zack, this is the song that injured my leg are you sure you want to do this?" "I've been watching you enough to understand how to do it. Just watch me go!" Yeah. 'Go' to the hospital to get your leg treated. I better go tell Ms Martin to tell the teacher she won't be needed.

Zack attempted to start again. He played the music a third time and began the routine. Wow, maybe I did underestimate him. He was doing amazing. Until he started dancing. The first step was a step forward, then spin on the leg you brought in front. He stepped forward and tripped. Yep, told you he was gonna break his leg.

When the teacher finally arrived, she was greeted with a commotion. "Hi, I'm Max. You must be Zack's teacher. I'm sorry to say that he won't be able to dance. He broke his leg." "You know, this is the third time a student's broken their leg before the first class. Maybe it's just a coincidence. Well, nice meeting you Max," she said with a smile, then walked off the front porch. Wow, talk about bad luck!
