When The Children Of Earth Are Lost

In the fields where innocence once frolicked, now rests a heart, its life shattered and plucked.

A child, pure and filled with grace, claimed by war and hatred, lies still in a place.

The brightness of their smiles was now a distant thought, their laughter silenced, like a sea off they sought.

Eyes that held hope and radiance so bright, were now dimmed by the darkness of the night.

Playful hands that clutched onto toys with glee, now lie cold and still in hostile territory.

Feet that danced with elegance and pace, now stay motionless within a confined space.

A voice that once sang with delight, was now hushed amidst shadows of the plight.

Dreams that soared high with hopes, embrace..now fragmented within a distorted world's religious chase.

Oh, how the angels weep and mourn profoundly, for this born one laid so early in the cold ground.

Their tears akin, to diamonds falling below, for this child so pure, whose voice no longer flows.

Parents filled with grief and pain untold, mourn their little treasure forever lost to hold.

Their hearts are burdened by sorrow, like the pouring rain. For the child who has suffered again.

The world with its callousness and endless strife, claims a child and steals a mother's life.

Their future was abruptly cut short by hate, leaving behind a trail of wounded hearts in its wait.

Still, we cling to the glimmer of hope, that one day healing will arrive and be restored...

That peace shall prevail and love will take control,

The lost child shall find their way home once more.
