Queen Of Her Own World... Mother To None

Queen Of Her Own World... Mother To None

In twilight's hush, where shadows dance and play, a mother's love does reign, in her own way.

Her beauty bright, like sunshine in the day, but with a heart of night, that's lost its way.

Her eyes, like stars, so bright and wide, reflect the love she bears, with pride.

But in their depths, a darkness lies, a narcissism that takes her by surprise.

She's lost in mirrors, where she's the queen, her reflection, the only one she's seen.

Her children, mere pawns in her game, to feed her need for love and fame.

With every word, a spell she weaves, a cage of lies, that her sons and daughters leave.

She drains their souls, with each affectionate caress, leaving them empty, with no love to possess.

Her touch, once warm, now cold as stone, her love, a weapon, never her own.

She takes, but gives not, in her heart, a narcissistic mom, a work of art.
