Weird Cycle Of Happiness

You wake up all new, not knowing what the planet holds for you,

But don't worry because you're all safe with mama.

Everything you've never seen before is now a view,

And there's no great trauma you've to go through.

You've never felt more safe and secure.

Then for the first time you're separated from your angels,

And sent to your second home.

You see others your age and they're all strangers,

But you roam around and form your own little honeycomb.

You feel at peace when you're with your friends.

Then you're thrust a little further away,

Apparently, you're now capable of watching your back.

You know that living alone is no child's play but you try anyway,

The coming days seem bright and you want to move forward rather than backtrack.

You trust yourself and feel safe and sound in your own arms.

Now you follow your dreams and reach a place,

Which is where you always wanted to be. 

You are happy that you've made your own safe space,

You feel like an opossum, nestled away safely into a tree.

You start looking at every child like yourself, years ago.

As the years pass, places in your heart you never knew were empty,

Start filling up with love and adoration for the people you meet.

You've surely been through a lot and seen plenty,

So just call shotgun and have fun in the front seat!
