The Tree Under Which He Sat
The Tree Under Which He Sat
If the apple tree could talk it would tell
The tale of a man upon whom an apple fell.
Sitting alone for shade beneath the cool roof
Searching the google in his head for gravity's proof
Many a man and child come to it to say
How they wish it had gone any other way
Wishing that the apple had never fallen on his head
Physics lectures wouldn't make their eyes bloodshot red.
The apple tree continued with a sigh
Opening its arms to question the gods of the sky
Why this man with a big brain indeed
Wasted all of it chewing the apple to the seed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
