Unreplaceable Love

You taught me to count, to write and to read

Your sunshine nurtured me into a tree from a seed 

 

You taught me to play and jump and run

You helped me to balance my studies with fun

 

You taught me the right way to tie my shoe lace

You held my hand till the end of the race

 

Then all of a sudden, everything went online

I was excited but nervous, would everything be fine?

Now every morning I don’t board my bus

Yet you’ve made online life just so normal for us

 

You greeted me every morning with a smile on your face

But that doesn’t mean I didn’t miss your warm embrace.

 

Overcoming all difficulties, you still made school so fun

But oh how I miss you telling me that the corridor’s not to run.

 

You stayed up working at nights for us, they’re all on our head

Teachers like you make school worth coming to, every time we get out of bed.

 

No one can replace you, that’s something I know for sure

The selfless love you have for us, we really couldn’t ask for more!
