The Question Asked

What is it that thou feel?, it is the very question that I asked,

The answer to which thou avoided and dared not, in the past.

Why is thou concerned now, it is a good night if thou ignore,

But something wasn't right I feel, the question came about this night & it bleeds.

Do you love someone? I asked,

Why are you in so much pain?

I've loved someone thou answered, but that someone looked at me in vain.

Have thou confessed thine love,

I hope good, thou shall have a chance.

I have confessed all my love,

Forget romance, it didn't even bother to glance.

I am sure if thou shall wait, thine love will bloom and it shall pass.

I have waited 20 long years,

My spirit is breaking and shall not last.

Outrageous it is. How dare thee be ignored.

Who is thine love, I shall see that thou scored.

It is thou thine self that ignored self-love,

Saying it is Ego, cast me out, abroad.
