The lost book
The lost book
Doing homework the thought
Struck to my jewel of body,
The book of science -
And in a trice I stood and
Started finding the log
Everywhere at place of belongings,
I searched it off.
The nook and corner of my house,
In bag, under table, on my chair,
Near the cushion, in cupboard and everywhere.
Made the house an investigating poll,
Hunted for a long.
In stress and anxiety I made myself wild
And thought for the teacher scolding me
With a shame and head down I stood there .
Oh.. No.. Where my book gone?
I searched whole night,
In kitchen and lawn.
At last my mother told me,
To think sitting quietly...
Eventually a spark went through my brain,
I got to know where it was!
Two days back ....
I gave it to my science teacher
And slept then being relaxed
How foolish am I!
