Was it the day I stood before you

All alone and nobody to play

I looked you in the eyes

Or was it the day when I fell down

And was looking for your hand

To lift me up, but you waited 

Till I had the courage to pick myself up

Was it when I had no other choice

But to accept my fate

And you stood by my side

Silently all the while

Or was it recently when I gave all up

But you showed me reasons

To believe in myself and live my life

As you held my hand even more tight

Was it at these times that I knew

I was so much in love with you
