Remote to my Choices

Birth of a child in a five-star hospital,

Upper class family, poshness overloaded.

Expensive gifts are received,

Boastful chatting going on.

The newborn one, amazed to see,

How wonderful was the world around?

Excitement, at its best, 

Baby looked around, see what happens next.

 She wondered,

Is there any senatorial meeting going on?

Loud was the voices, 

As if some crucial decision is to be taken.

Mummy said, "She will become a doctor ",

"Engineer", said papa, "pilot ", said the uncle.

Titles to be secured by the newborn one,

Under a debate international!

I would have come with a remote,

Keep changing my moods, my life at your ease.

Why not me grow up and find my route,

I could better select my own profession.

Provide me Education to help me,

Choose my own profession.

Don't force me to choose one,
