Aureate Leaves Of My Book
Aureate Leaves Of My Book
Aureate leaves of my book,
In each and every nook,
Holds thy love as a hook,
Flows like a brook.
Flaxen colored letters,
While writing, jitters,
As anxious fretters,
For whom it matters.
Love from those sweet notes flamed,
What it could be named,
"A burning heart" to be framed,
Or " Auriferous heart " to be renamed?
Find your name in every recto,
Search for it in every verso.
Written thy name in solo,
In each and every folio.
Stop the game of hiding and seek,
Afraid ? the talk of the meek,
Let the love flow like a creek,
Imprint thy lips on my cheek.
