Turkish Biryani
Turkish Biryani
Not a new thing though, but a mysterious story,
Of a wife who always thinks a lot and starts to worry.
Mona is so pretty, her heart is like a soft bubble,
She loves John a lot, lives for his love sans trouble.
John, the young man, adventurous, charming, and furious,
Left his wife alone and went for dinner, making her curious.
Mona too wished a dine out with him, but he wants to chill out alone,
She smelled something fishy, texted, and called without a stop on his phone.
John knew Mona’s nature, phones were kept in the restaurant’s locker,
To eat and drink endlessly without getting troubled by her moves as an attacker.
Mona waited for John, till midnight, she was panicked as John didn’t reply,
John, ordered a plate of Turkish Biryani, waiting to devour it, and started thinking of a lie.
He devoured the biryani, each and every bite, licked the vessel too in every take,
He felt like in heaven and had all the buds and pores of his tongue awake.
Nothing on the earth is so tasty, as this Turkish biryani, he muttered,
But how to convince Mona now, his mind started making plans to get her flattered.
John took the chef’s cap and placed it on his head, as giving pose to a poster,
To send a pic to Mona as a relief, to get rid of her attack as a monster.
He was unaware, Mona, light-hearted wife, fainted and was taken to the intensive care,
For she has thought some mishap must have occurred, or else such late coming is rare.
He rushed to the hospital, to meet his love, Mona, to hug her and say sorry,
She even in her sickbed, stared at him, said: “ Eat alone, different cuisines, I will spy for sure, don’t worry”.
