Philosopher's Walk

Philosopher's Walk

Many desires to fulfil, perhaps a life time is short still

Sometimes it is about travel, often it is material.

Restless mind wanders, kick up a storm of thoughts

Mutate into desires, more than what one requires.

Hope you won't get mad I desire to become a nomad

Walking as the lone purpose, not to worry I wouldn't lose poise.

With money in the bank, a pack at the back,

With a mobile no need for cash in hand

There may be destiny but no destination

For nights you can find shelter in a railway station.

Some day walking is a meditation

One step at a time, in the feet feel the sensation.

In life there is no hurry, part memories now remain blurry.

About future no desires nothing to nurture

You walk in the present one s

tep at a time.

In the distance you hear a temple bell chime.

Become aware of the baggage in your memory

You laugh at desires to live in the tower ivory.

Like the tree you shed leaves of desires

It is a renewal in the making, in the mind you continue to enquire

Shed of leaves the tree stands naked

Shed of desires you feel emotions sacred.

It's a walk to know thyself

To the noise in the mind you turn deaf.

Feel one with the surroundings

Accept whatever to you that life brings.

You would witness a changing landscape

That is a reality from which there is no escape.

Present is the moment, avoid another movement

What it is it is, this is what life is meant!
