Kudos Corona Fighters!

The pandemic is killing lives

All over the world,

With fear, anxiety, and sickness

The human world is whirled.

In this cry, fear, and despair

Who is putting their lives at stake,

Fighting through the darkness

Sacrificing everything for our sake.

O'you Corona fighters, brave and mighty

I bow to you in reverence, in gratitude,

For your dedicated services and passion

Fighting a battle of such great magnitude.

O'dear warriors, you are healing masses robed in a plastic dress

Carrying garbage, sitting in shops or teaching in schools,

Are you really breathing in anything fresh

Caught that you are, in the scariest of whirlpools.

Never are we short of food supply

Nor are we dying of hunger,

Our kitchens, the life source have never been shut

Those serving are helping us fight stronger.

I wonder what would be life be

Without books, without school,

Without peers, fun, and frolic

And those teachers so adorable and cool.

In adverse situations, in pangs of stress

They are there from nine to two,

I think and wonder how they manage

When their feet are in the same shoe.

I know all of you have a family and you think

Parents, wife, your kids are all worried for you,

What you don't know is, their chest swells up with pride

For the passionate work that you do.

Sacrificing your families, your pleasure

In this time of spiraling uncertainty,

Oh you doctors on call

The world looks at you to save humanity.

I wish I was as big and brave as you are

I would stand by you in this misery,

With you, I would work for hand in hand

To lessen the deaths and drudgery.

With your courage, commitment, and care

Together we will drive away the bug dreaded,

Light, hope, and faith will be back

Because your warriors have kept us safely tugged.

Gratitude in abundance for each sleepless night

Oh you angels, all you have is a heart full of thankfulness,

For standing strong beyond your call of duty

To keep up the fight with all your might.

Today I take a vow to be one like you

To care, to cure and to heal,

To work for happiness, for peace and humanity

So everybody has only hope and love to feel…………
