Wake Up Suddenly
Wake Up Suddenly
Each one of us has to perish one day,
Forever, here, no one has to stay".
Very often when these words
Fly in my world of desires,
I get blowy in my own thoughts.
I feel like a bird who while trying
To spread its wings, lost its feet
And fell to ground.
Pangs of anxiety clutches me
And I get lost in the darkness,
Here the epoch knocks hard,
And my soul has a weeping cry.
It re-warns me
Of my unfettered yearning,
And my resonant mind
Sends a shiver to my body.
Though I was lost
In the waters of Lethe
And deeply damped
In the physical realm,
Yet
the delicate seeds
Of gems of humanity,
I could find them, not dry,
they were still there, moist and soft.
Someone whispered
In the solitude of my soul,
And the harpness of my mind
Sent warm flames, and
The divine voice murmured,
"In the hour of this twilight,
Gather the fragments
Concealed in the depths
Of your being, the sun will return again.
Clear the mind wrapped
In the clouds of yearning
And whistle a new beginning.
All the answers are within you.
Here I am with my solitude
To unreveal myself
In the wealth of love and compassion.
