My Haunted Memories
My Haunted Memories
My haunted memories lingers still,
Like a ghost, that never will,
It haunts my dreams, with eerie grace,
Refusing to, leave its place.
It's like a shadow, dark and deep,
That won't let go, I can't sleep,
The memory haunts, without release,
Refusing to, give me peace.
I try to run, I try to hide,
But the memories, won't subside,
I try to scream, I try to shout,
But the memories, won't let out.
I try to fight, I try to flee,
But the memories just haunt me,
The memories linger, though the pain is gone,
A reminder of what I've overcome.
The memories fade, like the setting sun,
But the lessons learned will live on,
Even though the memories are no longer here,
I carry it with me, through the years.
