THOUGHT I WAS DEAD!

Thought I was dead
My soul crushed beneath the weight of expectations
My heart a heavy stone sinking in the depths of despair
My mind a numb void devoid of purpose or direction

But then I felt the warmth of sunlight on my skin
A gentle breeze that rustled the leaves of my existence
A whispered promise that life was still worth living
A fragile thread of hope that refused to snap

I slowly began to stir, to awaken from the long slumber
To shake off the dust of defeat and rise to my feet
To rediscover the beauty of the world around me
To find my voice, my strength, my sense of self

I am not dead, I am alive
My heart beats with a newfound sense of purpose
My soul stirs with a renewed sense of wonder
My mind expands with the possibilities of life.
