I'M FINALLY ME
I'M FINALLY ME
I'm finally ME
I used to shrink to fit the frame,
A shadow cast by someone’s name.
I wore the masks they handed me,
And smiled through borrowed symmetry.
I bent my voice to match the crowd,
Kept dreams and doubts beneath a shroud.
But silence grew too loud to bear—
A whisper rose: “You’re more than air.”
So piece by piece, I shed the lies,
Unlearned the need to compromise.
I stitched my soul with threads of grace,
And met myself face-to-face.
Now I walk with roots and wings,
Unapologetic, real, and brimming.
No longer chasing who to be—
I’ve come home to finally ME.
