In The Darkness

Someone has to carry this torch around,

The darkness is engulfing the beauty in silence,

And every beating heart is feeling astound.

The courage to speak and act,

Sometimes leaves an everlasting impact.

Why the truth is scared

And the lie is so courageous,

The wrong doings are not hideous.

The one who wants to bring the change

Has to face the negativity and outrage.

This darkness is like a parasite

Sucking the life out of every living soul,

If we don't realize how far will it go,

This is insane and no one is ready to slow.

Stop, look and analyze

Is this the stage of life where we want to reside,

The past is gone, present is soon going to end,

Future is so uncertain

When we don't know how long will we be able to hold.

One sparkle of light

Has to shine very bright,

To stop this insanity and struggle,

And make everyone realize,

Life is not meant to do the deeds

Which will lead to disaster and our own demise.
