My Dad, My Hero

She wants him back with all her heart,

It’s difficult for her to now her life chart.

He would kiss her, he would cuddle her.

He would envelope her in a tight bear hug till her eyes with happiness blurred.

He was her father, her Knight in Shining Armour,

He shadowed her everywhere lest anyone harmed her!

From buying her, her first pair of high heels forbidden by her mother,

To being absolutely confident of her abilities to succeed in life, he was like no other.

Indulgent to the core, he would support her in all her endeavours,

He stood like a rock of Gibraltar in all her efforts.

His loving smile and his caressing touch,

Is forever engraved in her heart; to move forward she needs this invaluable crutch.
