India: The Nation
India: The Nation
Before our Independence,
India was known as 'The Golden Bird', Because of its Wealth;
Then, suddenly, the foreign people stole it;
Treating India and Indians as
Their slaves;
India, or, our beloved 'Bharat' gives us joy;
When you see the tri-colour flag swaying gently in the air;
How do you feel?
One feels proud and mesmerised by the sight;
The national flag is an important part of Republic Day and Independence day;
Celebrating these festivals with joy is not a formality;
It's a whole, beautiful emotion!
But, India doesn't only celebrate these festivals;
It celebrates all festivals of all religions and all castes;
India has set an example for other countries in the world as well;
So many festivals, and so many colours;
Everyone loves the country from the bottom of their hearts;
Holi, Baisakhi, Pongal, Onam;
All related to the first growth and cultivation of fresh crops from the fields;
Diwali, Eid, Christmas;
All related to tremendous celebrations and tremendous happiness;
India got its incredible name from
The name of another river,
Indu
s;
Now, our respected prime-minister;
Has done so much more
For our India;
And we all are proud of it;
Everyone living in the country;
Gets their own rights and responsibilities;
Girls have too got so much respect,
And many important rights;
Like Right to Education and so much more!
Equality between all genders;
Supporting real people and their real doings;
Not supporting fake people and their fake doings;
Giving a lending hand to good and great talent;
Is all that gives us the reason to love and praise India;
So many talented actors, sportspeople, dancers, singers, and other players;
Bring home a precious memorandum;
This gives us another reason to love and praise India;
Different states and different cultures
Enhance the beauty of the land of India even more;
India is known for different monuments like the Taj Mahal, Qutab Minar etc. also,
Writing or speaking about India is difficult;
Such a vast country,
Cannot be defined in a few minutes or hours!
Yes, India is not just a country,
It's a whole emotion!
