Blood running hot through his veins,

On Sultan's horses, his hands held the reins

The Tiger of Mysore pride in his soul vanished,

as the grandeur of his rule prowled!

Strapped in a dagger around her vest

a quiver of arrows over Laxmi Bhai's chest

the Queen's sword of valor at her waist yet,

the remnants of her land got erased

The metallic smell of blood sprinted into them as flood people winced in pain and agony as Britishers whips slashed against their knees.

With bruises all over them, enduring the cruel torture along with clem

Bharat under the English hands,

to be a victim of their commands.

Laid in the cell battered and beaten,

The raw anger rioting as it heaten while a faint sound reached their ears as a result of their battle through years The sound amplified to a revolution as people cried with a firm resolution

Until it was crystal clear 'Jai Bharat Mata!' ringing in their ears.

The revolutionaries battled The foundation of British rattled

As Bhagat Singh roared, 'Inquilab

Zindabad'

along with Chandrashekar Azad.

The peaceful Mahatma Gandhi led the March of Dandi without a moment of halt,

to have our own tax-free salt.

Going against the methods of Bapuji,

while under the leadership of Netaji

The Azad Hind Fauj came into play battling out its own unique way

As the nightingale of India sung,

in the air, the rich patriotism hung,

As Tagore's works rose deshbhakti

the people united and portrayed true Shakti

Today as we reminisced in patriotism,

we still stand united,

be it, any religionism

Hindu or Muslim and Sikh or Christian, we are all children of the same nation!
