Immortal Hope
Immortal Hope
Dark were those times
Which turned larks into mimes.
A tyrant absent of humanity,
Commited genocide unveiling his vanity.
It was like a tsunami of death
Trying to smother every powerless breath.
The shape of mankind was distorted and bloody,
As if some heathen attacked with acid on the splendid body.
But that trauma was only external,
The human soul immune to repression was still eternal.
Though beaten up and wounded,
The immortal hope was still alive,
Taking back it's strong ground,
The immortal hope will again thrive
A band of brothers from different countries across the ocean,
Stood united against the evil,
Commencing the opposite motion.
The battles of Stalingrad, Normandy and Midway were won
And this marked the beginning of
The Nazi run.
After six long years of battle the ruthless brute committed suicide,
Leaving his army with no choice but to abide.
Finally the great war was over,
Breaking the chains of the ones who were jailed,
And this way the immortal hope prevailed
And this way the immortal hope prevailed.
