If I Were A City

If I were a city,

I'd be a loud and noisy one.

I'd have beautiful sky scrapers lining my ends,

I'd have aesthetic looking skies.

I'd be #lovethiscity on every teenagers Instagram.

I'd be city of stars, city of ashes and bones.

I'd be a city built from rubble,

And city rising from dust.

I'd be the concrete jungle where dreams are made,

And the kind of city that gives you shade.

I'd be the kind of city you'd want to cuddle and drink hot chocolate with,

I'd be the city you'd get drunk and have deep conversations with.

I'd be the city with pleasing lights at nights,

That slowly turn to great mornings. 

Sometimes I wish I was a city,

Sometimes I wish I was something more.
