To The Girl In The Pink Frock
To The Girl In The Pink Frock
That's a pretty frock you got there.
It's the perfect shade of baby pink.
And gives your mushroom cut,
The perfect sense of bounce.
I see you running around the metro,
And everyone just smiling at how cute you look.
Let me warn you though,
Don't let this society dirty your pretty frock.
Well that would be a shame,
For a dress so pretty to get soiled.
Those matching shoes you've got,
Look just fine and well they got glitter,
And you can never go wrong with a little glitter.
The adults weren't kidding when they said,
If you don't eat your cereal or cause ruckus
The bad people will come take you away.
They were a little wrong in saying ,
"The bad people will take you away
And lock you in a dark room"
Just there's no dark room and
I shouldn't be telling you this,
But I'll let you in on a little secret.
Bad people are everywhere.
The world is made of rainbows and unicorns
and chocolate fountains,
But there are bugs and creepy insects too.
I guess you rubbing your eyes and yawing is my cue
Well sleep tight, don't let the bugs bite
For it would be a shame
For such a pretty pink frock to get stained.
