I Wish My Poems
I Wish My Poems
I wish my poems hide
The 17th page
Of my sixth standard social book
Where I wrote my first crush's name
Instead of hiding
My past, where all those cheaters
Without intentions casually played with my emotions.
I wish my poems portray
The last paragraph of the prayer song
From my school handbook
Instead of portraying
The worst secret I buried
Along with my last relationship.
I wish my poems depict
The stick figures with some smiles and balloons
On 15th May of my first diary
Where I drew my family
And wrote, "Happy family day",
Instead of depicting
How people left emptying their garbages
Into my heart, which I kept for collecting some love.
- Words I wish to tell a person who puts me to sleep by simply hugging me tightly.
