Horrendous Night

While I was about to sleep,

from my phone, I got a message beep.

I ignored the message,

as it was too late for it to see.

Suddenly, in the mid of the night,

My heart skipped a beat.

I woke up due to perturbation,

gulped a glass of water for pacification.

However, still I could get,

pounding of the heart.

Somehow, I tried to sleep for some time,

but my heart was not ready to do that time.

As soon as I woke up in the morning,

I tried to keep myself busy working,

but was unaware that something has happened,

to the person who was everything to me.

I was completely lost throughout the day,

with no heed to food or sleep or anything else.

Suddenly, somber circumambient surrounded me,

when I discerned something unpredictable.

I felt like the ground slipped from under my feet,

in the night when I came to know that he met with an accident.

We lost him in the spot,

as he was badly hurt.

The accident happened last night,

and I was obvious of such an incident.

I sobbed through the nighttime,

as I was unable to see him during the last minute.



A ghastly bike accident,

took him to death,

and my little world shattered into pieces at that moment.
