The Indelible Day Of My Life

The day was quite hotsy-totsy,

As the circumambient was full of felicity.

With the flamboyant kites, the blue sky was packed to capacity,

As it was the day of the flying kite festivity.

We all juveniles were over-embellished in observance,

But unaware of the quagmire which is gonna flip my life.

Everyone got disappeared to have lunch on time,

But I was occupied with piling up the kites and keeping them aside.

Without goofing off, as I tried to flee away for lunch,

My uncle dragged me and forced me to sit on the stairs.

He kept me over-embellish in his gewgaw colloquy,

And started with me for being palsy-walsy.

While doing colloquy, I felt like something is moving on the upper part of the body,

When I stared down, I felt appalled.

His fingers were running on my naked body astounded me,

His arms were too strong, that I failed to squeeze out in time.

Tears started rolling down my cheeks,

 And I was feeling helpless.

Suddenly, my dad called my name,

I ran down the stairs without goofing off in exhilaration,

By pulling his hands out from my body.

Several questions were overlapping in mind,

When I hugged my dad, I felt reassured.

But still after two and half decades,

When these terrific moments get flashed back,

It disturbs the peace of my circumambient
