A Tale as old as Time
A Tale as old as Time
The princess gazed out her window,
Yearning for adventure.
She beckoned the sparrows near,
But they chirped rudely and flew away.
She tried cinematically brushing her hair,
But her comb got stuck on the tangled knots.
She tossed the brush aside
And plopped onto her bed.
Then suddenly, nothing happened.
The knight in shining armour overslept.
The dragon's wings were stuck in the door.
And so was the maiden left alone,
Alone to gaze at her television wistfully.
