Gibberish Challenge
Gibberish Challenge
In an odd moment I found
myself in a rhyme zone
Words flowed without rhyme or reason
Sometimes for a cause
Cutlets and tomato sauce.
Tea in a cup and saucer
From the wand of the sorcerer.
Writer turned baker
Baked bread
That could be eaten along
With writings that could be read.
It is good to keep the bread handy
When your life gets into a jam.
What meaning of life, a conundrum?
The answer elusive, leaves me glum.
I cook my thoughts,
I make a pudding
Proof is in the reading.
I turn the pages of life
Although differently numbered
They all read the same.
On the eve of the new year
I write this gibberish
Precursor to the future.
The hands of the clock
Complete many revolutions
My life, I lack any resolution.
Confined to the home
Writing skill, I honed
Now words come out six-pack toned.
Wordsmith strikes the keys
Words like sparks fly
Fire in him blazed
Only the ashes remain.
Forensics team collected the ashes
Tested and analysed
No evidence of the writer.
Sherlocked in the home
Chewed the words byte by byte
In defeat, he said “not elementary my dear!”
As long as thoughts come
The gibberish will continue
It is not yet time for a full stop.
