When I Grow Up
When I Grow Up

When I grow up I would be a doc
All the patients would say 'Sir', knock knock
I will make them well and give a good cure
They would be so happy, am sure.
I can be a teacher too
Will keep learning and teaching something new
I would be the nation builder
But I think it's a big job
Let me think of it when I'm a little elder.
What if I'm an engineer
I'll make big parks far and near
I would make the world a paradise
And save the environment and be wise.
Or I can be a vet
And keep not few but so many pets
I
can talk and play with them
But would I not be big by then?
I can be a pilot or an astronaut
Oh my God, the things I would do... What not
But what if I want to be home quick
To keep me up in space they might give me an extra ice-cream to lick.
What if I be a singer, actor or chef
I would dance or act or sing or make some yummy cake batter
What do I do out of these... The prior or the latter.
There is so much to do around
Life is calling I can hear the sound
But I think there is much more fun
In being a child so I'll be one.
