The light of dawn seeped into my room. I rubbed my bleary eyes and walked to the window. There was a pearly glow in the sky. Yesterday was a very special day because yesterday was the wedding of my best friend.

Her wedding ceremony took place at The Sum Villa, located near my hometown. It was decorated so impressively with a lot of lights, candles and flowers around the room. There were three glamorous wedding photo albums, showing tables right at the center of the official gate. The principal colors were likely to be red and violet, so all the guests were requested to wear clothes with one or both of these colors. Personally, I wore a red saree with small accessories.

Ironically for me everything was having a pearly glow because of something else that happened last night, something which happened during the movie.

Last night

We all know that an Indian wedding is a grand occasion, very colorful and very lavish with a lot of pomp and show. The festivities of the Indian Wedding begin at least a week in advance. The guests, the get together, the music and dance all are a part of this extravaganza. It is no silent affair. Today is the D-day of the wedding i.e, the actual pheras time but before that the groom decided to surprise the bride by showing their journey of love via a movie.

All of us were so engrossed in the movie that we almost forgot that we were actually in a wedding. When the groom was actually proposing in the movie to my best friend, I thought that I really am being running away for so long, maybe I should love a chance again. My eyes suddenly moved around to find a person who was the only person in my life I felt like to spend an eternity with but for me it was only a silly one-sided love.

My whole world stopped when our eyes met, that mean he was also finding me when the proposing sequence was going on. I don't know what to do with this, is this again my dopamine acting up, is it again my illusion or a mere coincidence. After the movie ended, both bride and groom hugged each other and looked in the eyes affectionately & expressing themselves in unsaid words to one another.

When the pheras was going on, he (my one-sided love) came near me and stood by side whole time, after this the bride groom was taking blessings of elders, at that moment he suddenly said," How good it would be if in our Hindu rituals there was a custom to throw flowers like a Christian." I got surprised and asked him why he was suddenly saying this. He said," Then I will make sure to catch it and give it to you." I was flabbergasted but before I could say something his friends called him to accompany them for a ritual.

He turned," Tomorrow accompany me to a place, don't worry I know your address, I'll be there by 12. Waiting for you like always.

Present time

I don't what exactly he meant by that, but I have decided firmly to go on this path of love and see what happens at the end because this time I am definitely not letting him go. Thanks to that movie which gave me a desire to breath, a desire to walk, a desire to love.
