Beautiful Himachali Tribes

Once I got an opportunity to visit a very beautiful tribal village of Himachal Pradesh, named Churdhar. It is majorly famous for a Shiva Temple wher large number of tourists keep visiting regularly. 

I was fortunate that I got the chance to visit Churdhar with one of my close friends. It's a beautiful village with green mountains & beautiful streams all around. The head of the village welcomed us very warmly and also organised a small welcome retual in our honour. We felt so blessed.

Later he talked about his community , the problems they regularly face & what steps the Central & State Governments are taking to eradicate those problems. There is proper school facility with powerpoint bases teaching pattern for students, all thanks to Innovative scheme of Government of India for upliftment of villages. Roads are now much better to travel & easy availability of public transport is also there which has made the life of those tribes easy.

Later in the evening, the head organized a dance performance of local tribes where they depcited their cultural heritage in form of song & dance. In between, the head of the tribe was explaining me all the things with a beautiful smile on his face. I was absolutely overwhelmed by seeing the love & respect in his eyes & words for his culture & tradition.

It is actually a fact that an individual's true identity is his culture & cultural values & this thing I truly experienced in my journey to this beautiful village.

Next morning, it was time to leave that place & move back to the city life on the same 9 to 5 working schedule. As we departed, the villages were having teats in their eyes. They did not say a word but in their tears I could hears their voices saying, "Please don't go. Just stay with us."

It was a beautiful journey, the memories of which will stay in my heart forever.
