The Ghost in the Rain

Aman Kumar was working as an IT Engineer in some software company. He was a great devotee of Lord Hanuman. He prayed Lord Hanuman everyday.  Life was moving happily until something happened which changed life of Aman forever. At a certain distance from his office there was a cafe. The strange thing about that cafe was very few people used to have tea or coffee over there. When Aman enquired he found that it was the oldest cafe in the city but now there are more modernized cafes so people have forgotten this old one. Only the old loyal customers used to go over there. That cafe was also at a distance from the main market. One day when Aman was working in his office his boss called everyone to his cabin. The boss said, "Dear friends very sadly I want to say that today we have assembled here to remember those people who have left us forever in some unfortunate incidence. The organisation has decided to remembered them. So we will keep silent for 5 minutes in their memory and pray to God to blessed their soul."during that meeting the manager has also hung the pictures of the people in whose memory the meeting was called. 

In the evening when office hours were over, everyone moved to their home. Aman was feeling tired so he started searching for some tea shop where he can have a cup of tea. He went to the same oldest cafe in the town. As he was moving in that direction one of the employees of his organisation named Raj warned him not to go over there. When he asked the reason they said, "Nobody's goes in that cafe, it's haunted".Aman laughed & said, "Please don't spread such rumours in today's technical and scientific world."

As Aman entered that cafe, suddenly rainfall started. He decided to have tea and snacks till the rain is falling. As he further entered the cafe everything looked very different. There was some creepy feeling over there. He sat on a table and called the waiter to take order. Aman was shocked to see the waiter. He was the same dead employee whose photo was there in his office. But he did not say anything and drank his coffee. After drinking coffee he went to the billing counter. As he saw the bill counter man, he found that he was also one of those persons whose photo is hanging with the dead employees of his office. Aman rushed towards the main door of the cafe when one another employee stop him. Aman look at him. He was also one of the employees whose photo was hanging on the wall of his company. In a horrible voice he said, "Sir, it's raining heavily, please wait here till the rain stops. After that you can go." Aman looked at him fearfully & said, "Ok, yeh sure, why not. I will wait". Fearfull Aman sat quietly on one of the chairs.

At that very moment Aman received a message on his mobile from Raj. He opened his what's app. Raj has sent a link. Aman opened that link. It was an old newspaper cutting. The same group photo of the people that was in his office was printed on the newspaper. Below it there was a news, "A cafe was demolished to construct a software company but unfortunately because of carelessness, 17 people got buried alive. It is suspected that those 17 people were the employees of that cafe." As Aman was reading this news Raj called him, "Aman just run away from that cafe, all of them are dead people. They are all Ghosts. Run Aman run."

Aman said, "Raj it's raining heavily outside. These people said that when the rain gets settled, I can go." Raj said, "No Aman no, there is no rainfall in the City, the sun is still shining bright. Just move from there."

Listening to Raj, Aman became more fearful.Suddenly he saw that all those people were moving towards him. Raj closed his eyes, folded his hands in prayer & started chanting Hanuman Chalisa with a smile on his face. Suddenly a bright light appeared behind Aman and all the ghost started running away from him. A bright shadow of Lord Hanuman was clearly visible to the ghosts behind Aman.  Now the ghosts were fearful and they started running away from Aman to save themselves. But Aman rushed towards them and shouted, "Please stop. I don't consider you my enemy". All the ghosts stopped. Aman said, "As an employee of the same company, I beg you to forgive all of us. What was  done with you people was really bad. I beg in front of you. Please forgive us, please forgive us. Please don't punish innocent people for 1 person's fault." 

Seeing Aman folding his hands one of the ghosts said, "Aman, it's not your fault but the owner of your organisation destroyed our lives and also the life of our families. That day also it was raining heavily when our cafe was demolished. But now we have no feeling of hatred for anyone. Lord Hanuman purified us. With his blessings we all are going to the heaven. Take care. You are a pure soul." Saying these words the ghosts disappeared. 

Again there was a bright sunshine. Aman was happy to see the sunshine. Suddenly the entire cafe disappeared. Aman was shocked. It was the rarest incidence of his life. Even today Aman starts having goosebumps if anybody reminds him about this incidence.
