She was a highly reputed teacher in Nahan Government School. She was a symbol of Hard Work, dedication, commitment & devotion towards the teaching Professor. I was very fortunate that I improved my academic performance under her guidance.

I was living with my family in a beautiful small town, Nahan in Himachal Pradesh. Although I was a disciplined student in class but sometimes I scored less marks in my class test & examination, majorly because of my bad handwriting. Now this is also true that I was a little bit careless too who gave less consideration to this difficulty, unaware of the fact that this difficulty of mine is ultimately affecting my percentage. 

But my parents knew it thoroughly that how I am getting lagged behind hurt because of my bad handwriting. That is when my parents motivated me take guidance of Mrs. Meera Bansal, who was a highly reputed teacher of that town. She was a mother figure for me & she actually treated me like his own son. Since we were Known to each other since long, whatever educational difficulty I faced, I often used to discuss with her.

After my parents discussed my problem with her, immediately she made up her mind to teach me thoroughly. From next day onwards, I started visiting her home to learn cursive writing. Very systematically she taught me writing beautifully. I was also concentrating of the key skills related to improving writing skills that she used to tell me. 

We started with cursive writing skills & later she also told me how to maintain the alignment of the words & sentences in both English and Hindi because as we all know that in lower classes we have two different types notebooks for Hindi & English writing. 

Whenever I made a mistake, she said one thing very thoroughly,"See Piyush, when any examiner is checking your answer sheet, he never focuses on you as a person. Even if you are the most disciplined student of the class, still while checking your answer sheet the examiner only focuses of how appropriately you have written.

Bad handwriting irritates the examiner. Already the examiner is overburdened with many answer sheet. And in such a scenario, if he is not able to understand what a candidate has written, out of frustration he can score you badly. So please don't be the point of irrigation for the examiner. It will affect your percentage & you will not be able to join reputed institution during your higher education days.

Never forget that every event of life is connected with the previous event. If you score less percentage in college examinations also due to bad handwriting, corporate organizations will not even allow you to sit in their interview process. So please keep this bitter fact of life also in your mind that bad handwriting can affect your job life also & try to improve. If you have any difficulty, I am always there to help you. 

Her words worked magic and from next day onwards I started focusing thoroughly on my handwriting. I used to write as much as I can, further comparing my text with people who had most beautiful writing style. Gradually I improved in a great manner. Not only I improved but in next term examination I scored good percentage too. 

My school teachers were both surprised & happy to see this great improvement in my personality. It was all because of my teacher Mrs. Meera Negi Bansal. Returning home I went with a box of sweet to her home. I touched her feet & told her about my achievement. Very happily she said, "A teacher is a guiding light for any student. But it is a great quality of a student also, if he listens thoroughly what the teacher is saying. So the credit of this success goes to you. Keep learning, keep growing, God bless you."

How humble she was. She gave me one more great lesson of life that day, "Knowledge makes you humble", just like she was. 

I shall always remain thankful to her throughout my life.
