Renee was highly enthusiastic at her grandparent's home. She along with her cousins Kiku, Kuki Di, and Mampi Di went out to the street markets of the village escorted by grandfather. They relished the street foods, climbed trees, plucked mangoes and guavas, gathered Gulmohar flowers, fed goats and cows of villagers. For them, it was a pleasure beyond imagination. After returning home they narrated the events to the family each one of them giving their own inputs and experience.
Grandfather always wear a watch which was a wedding gift by grandmother. One day the cousins together with grandfather visited a barn of grandfather's friend. There they jumped on the stacks of hay, fed forage to the cattle. Suddenly grandfather noticed his watch was missing from his wrist. He gathered the cousins and solicited their help offering them a reward. They searched everywhere but couldn't locate the watch and sat down disappointed. Grandfather was sad and called it a day. Seeing grandfather pensive, Renee asked for the last chance. She went inside the barn and returned in a few minutes with the watch. Her cousins accused her of cheating. Grandfather trusted her and asked how she found the watch. Renee politely told him, she went inside and calmly sat at one place, then she heard the tic-toc of the watch and retrieved it. Grandfather patted her for the wisdom and gave them a treat at the confectionery shop.
