Lazy Sons

Many years ago, in a little village lived a man with his two sons. His wife had died long back. His sons were very lazy and wandered around the village. The man was very disappointed and wanted his sons to work hard like him. He had a mango orchard where he toiled. And selling the mangoes along with other fruits in the fruits market kept him afloat.

Years of hard work and worry about his son's well-being made him ill. One day he called his sons and told them I have treasures hidden in the orchard near the mango trees you can dig that out. The sons had no source of income so they thought to dig out the treasures. For days they dug in the orchard but didn't find any treasures. They had worked hard as well knew their father would never lie. They planted new saplings, watered the existing trees guarded the orchard in case anyone knowing about the treasures would steal it. In a few months, the orchard was full of mangoes as the digging near the trees let water sip to the roots. They sold the mangoes at a good rate. Still confused they narrated everything to their father. The man smiled and said the orchard itself was the treasure chest and mangoes were the treasures. With their hard work, they had a bumper harvest of mangoes. The lazy sons learned a huge lesson and promised their father to work with the same zeal.
