Our Future Is Dead

Rapes and murders are the daily news,

Safety or opportunity is what we have to choose.

Headlines of the local daily seems to be dead,

'Our future is in black hands', someone truly said.

'5 killed in an accident', this is what I usually hear,

Sometimes being a part of this thought, I really fear.

Peace, positivity and security is all what I desire,

For my own safety and future, inside me there is a burning fire.

The world is being black with all the doubts,

I can feel somebody's shrills, yelps and shouts.

I can hear a girl's painful cry,

No one helped her and she is mixed with earth, water and sky.

I am sure that our future is dead,

We may even die while dreaming on the bed.

If our future is in spoilt hands,

Just imagine for a while where the world stands!
