When Martha the caretaker saw Charu, she was shocked to see Sheryl being seated there. Upon screaming, she fainted there. The frightened Charu rushed back home she was really nervous. She somehow reached her home, removed her shoes, more or less she ran into her room. The security and other attendants exchanged their query looks. The cook Shanthanu alerted himself and went to knock at the door, but returned without doing so. Charu knew the scene behind her closed door. But she never paid any attention to it. She stood before the mirror and was searching the face of Sheryl Vergheese's face from different angles. But couldn’t find it. She then sat on the bed. Let me think, now let me have something to drink and she calmed herself down. She opened the door and pressed the calling bell. Shanthu came with a glass of juice. With a weird look on her face, she took the juice glass and started to drink. Seeing her perplexed look, Shanthanu patted her head and said “ Charu ! my dear, why are you bothered about unnecessary things? you better think about your future, be with your granny. Why are you wandering around that mountain hill house? It is out of reach of normal people’s life. “

By that time, Charu finished drinking the juice and handed over the empty glass to Shanthanu and caught hold of his hand who was about to return, and questioned him “ are you sure I am simply wandering over that hill? “

“ No! it is not like that dear, I feel you are inviting problems onto yourself. In case if your dad comes to know of it, he may tighten the security. Now I have work, we will talk later on “ thus saying he left the place. Charu helplessly went freshened up, as she felt her face was sticky as she was sweating when she had rushed home. After freshening herself she felt discomfort to stay in the room. so she came out of the room and straight away walked towards her granny’s room, her granny was sleeping, the nurse was on her mobile. She came out, walked into the garden. She was relieved after breathing in the open air. Started pacing up and down.

When Martha fainted, Ruth, seeing his mother lying on the ground and frightened Charu running out of the house. He called out for her Madam! Madam !. but Charu as if she did not hear, she scooted out. Then Ruth

Came towards his mother, he shook her trying to wake her up. But she did not

Not respond to him. He immediately went and brought a water jug and sprinkled it on Martha’s face. Slowly she opened her eyes and sat properly she regained her consciousness and turned round to see the person in the form of Sheryl. Her son repeatedly asked her what had happened to her and why that girl ran away and who she was? Martha felt many others present in the house were watching and curious to know about the incident. But she did want to let out the matter so she said, I don’t know, Got up and went and sat on the sofa. Since right now Martha is the head of that villa. On seeing her sharp look all of them surrounded there dispersed from there. Ruth gave a glass of water for her to drink. After drinking water Martha rested for while in her room. She got up and sprinkled some water on her face wiped it off with a towel and drew the table drawer inside it there was a small box she slides the shutter off putting her hand inside and took out a key which had an ivory key chain no 8998 was engraved on it. After taking the key she closed the drawer and also closed the door of her room. There was a big sliding dressing mirror nobody could guess it was a sliding one. She just slid the mirror and the door appeared there. It was like any other door. But it was locked. Martha opened the door with the help of the key in her hand. With a slight shriek, the door was opened, as decades have rolled anybody entering the room. It was Charu’s coming there the room breathed a human breath. After Sheryl left this world and this room, it was kept under lock and went unnoticed. Martha shifted her room from the maid quarters to the adjacent room that of Sheryl and Vergheese. At that time Ruth was a child. So all such arrangements were made with the knowledge of Vincent and her husband Martin. Martin was a driver-cum-housekeeper of that villa. Martha was a 24 hours resident. Martha entered the room switched on the light and fan. The room was smelled of mustiness. She opened the round hole small window and let the fresh air enter the room. Then she started touching all the things that belonged to Sheryl, as she touched each and every item she was nervous and started wiping the sweat on her face. When she tried to open the wardrobe she felt somebody is holding her hand and a sort of threatening sound and sensed someone presents there. Yet she gained the confidence and closed the wardrobe. As she was about return, she felt like seeing her image in the mirror. When she saw her image there was another figure appearing alongside it was Charu’s. Martha tried to scream but shut her mouth holding the dressing table in one hand and immediately ran towards the door, but again she returned and closed the window, hurried towards the door before leaving the room switched off the light and fan locked the door and slide the mirror and sat on the bed. Her mind was wheeling between Charu and Sheryl. How could it be? She was the main witness. Sheryl was shot dead and Martin and herself cleared the mess up and put on a show of natural death in front of the people.

She recollected the incident. As per Sheryl’s wish Mr. Vergheese with great trouble constructed a villa on the Mount, even the mount was a created one. But for Vergheese it wouldn’t have been possible for others to construct the villa and the mountain. Of course, he had shelled down a lot of money time on it. Yet he had done it to please his beloved wife Sheryl. On the day house warming ceremony, after the program, everybody congratulated the couple and left except Mr. Vincent the best friend of the family. The servants and others were having dinner outside the villa. Only Vergheese , Sheryl, and Vincent were chatting and ranging one another about the event. “Oh ! at last, you proved yourself as a henpecked husband “ thus Vincent pulled Vergheese’s leg. So long when Vincent was making fun of Vergheese, he also enjoyed it. But the moment when he heard henpecked, Vergheese flared at Vincent who was younger to him by more than twenty years. When both started quarreling physically, Vergheese pulled out a sidelines gun and aimed at Vincent, Sheryl came in between them but by that time he had tiger the gun, Sheryl with a scream fell to the ground with blood gushing from her body. Martha who was making Ruth go to sleep heard the scream and came to the hall saw the scene. Vincent immediately closed the door. Switched off all the major lights and with dim light, they all came to senses and took the next step. Martin who had come to collect Martha had entered the house from the back door was dumbstruck. But in the meantime Vincent was alert. Vergheese’s, temper came down and realized his mistake, one side his beloved wife for whose sake he did all these was lying dead that too from his own hand he had killed her, and the fear of police inquiry made him helpless. Mr. Vincent took further steps, and with the help of Martin, and buried Sheryl in the royal graveyard. Later since there was no one else to take care of, Martha and martin became the temporary heirs, when Vergheese desperately had left the place and had vanished from the eyesight of the people. But Vincent and Martha had spread the news that he has gone abroad to overcome his grief. Vincent had cleaned the gun neatly had kept it in the safe. But now Sheryl appearing in the form of Charu. That was the real trouble. As days went by Vergheese and Sheryl's relatives slowly got detached from the Vergheese villa, according to them it was not a good sign which had taken away Sheryl’s life. So Vincent and Martha’s family very enjoying the wealth of Vergheese. How come, after so many years now Sheryl has started troubling them.

When Charu realized that Vincent had gone to Egypt, she was curious to know about it. If she enquires about her father she is sure he will scold her. So she herself was trying to dig about it. Then a thought came to her the MVo2FK09 must have been scribbled on the gun. As she learned about Vincent leaving Kerala, she immediately visited the museum. She searched for the gun. But it was not found there. She enquired about the in charge of the museum. He opened the logbook and fold her Mr. Vincent had obtained it. At last, she realized there is something fishy between Vincent and the gun.
