Mayuri - Maylari

 The sound of the slapping made the people standing in the bus stop, people

moving around the place, the vehicle riders turned their heads towards the slapping sound direction which they had heard and started gathering towards that place. Maylari’s face went red at the slap. Mayuri’s anger was so high that her body was trembling. Before she could say anything the crowd which had gathered there understood the situation that might have happened. Each one started distinguishing the situation in their own manner. Maylari was in a quandary situation and felt insulted. He wanted to leave the place but, the crowd had surrounded him, unable to find his way out. By that time traffic police arrived there and started dispersing the crowd and passed his looks on Mayuri and Maylari and assessed the situation. “ come to the police station” he admonished Maylari.

“ sir! s.. i.. r ! “ stammered Maylari. He was trying to convince the police, but his stammering was an obstacle for his expression. 

“ No ! ! no ! no ! nothing doing “ thus he pulled Maylari’s collar and was about to drag him from there. Coincidently Maylari’s friend Sridhar who happened to appear there put his hand on Maylari’s shoulder with a curious look on his face. . Myalari who was looking for help at that situation, before Sridhar could

ask, eagerly told him “ No ! No I ..I .. ne..ver did any...thing, any.. thing, I .. I... only sa..id Ma.. ma.. ya..lar.. that’s all “. Actually, he wanted to catch a bus to Maylara place and was trying to enquire about it. But Mayuri mistook him, for she thought he is trying to misbehave with her. Upon hearing his stammering expression Mayuri felt ashamed of herself and apologised and cleared the crowd. Later along with the police and Sridhar Mayuri and Maylari moved towards the coffee shop situated there. People who were still present there were stunned seeing their act.
