Unsuccessful Mission

                Nature lifted the shelter of their father when her three kids were very small. She becomes a widow with high mountain responsibilities. It was the utmost essential requirement of the middle-class family, but they were deprived of the company of their father. There were two brothers and a lovely sister In the family. Their father was an employee in some private company with a fairly good salary. When we are in trouble, then everybody keeps a safe distance from the oppressed family as curiosity killed the cat. A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step. Mother cum father with her three kids continued their life from hand to mouth. The whole family loaded the bear.

Elder's son used to take the tuition of school students in his spare time. He continued his graduation followed by his younger brother and sister. He was preparing for various competitive examinations hoping for good days in the near future. His younger brother completed his post-graduation in science. Good days come to those who wait. He get employed in a government job at a different place from his native place. In this way, the family recovered from the critical situation. Their sister attended the age of marriage. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

The family put the proposal to the nearest relatives and community people. Absences make the heart grow fonder. Relatives helped them to find a match life partner for her. Since the girl was beautiful and educated, so she get married soon. You don’t get always what you want, but the elder son was suffering from a health problem. He was not too much caring about his health. He used to take the medicine from the medical shop. Sometimes he used to go to a government hospital. Stitch in time save the nine. If he had shown himself to some physician, he would have noticed the reason for his frequent ill-health. Bitter pills may have blessed effects. He would have recovered from the health problem. His ignorance cost the bomb to him. After some months, he noticed a major problem. The family showed him to the reputed physician. He asked them to take some medical tests. When medical reports were examined, it was found that his both kidneys were unserviceable. Somebody from his either friend circle or from the local had poured poison in his meals in the past.

                    Anyhow the family was just recovered from their worst days. This situation for them was just Like a fish out of water. They missed the boat and then cold shoulder to a burning problem. The younger brother was very much bothered and under tremendous pressure. The physician suggested the transplantation of at least one kidney from the family members. Mother was ready to donate the Kidney for the survival of her son. After careful examination of the mother, the doctor expressed his doubt about the successful transplantation of the mother’s kidney due to aging and poor medical reports. It might be turn out to be fatal to both. Then his younger brother bit the bullet at the crossroad. He decided to donate his kidney to the elder brother. All necessary tests were completed for the transplantation of the kidney.

The operation was done, doctor successfully transplanted the kidney. It cast an arm and leg in the transplantation of the kidney. Anyhow they managed the expenditures through some bank deposits and external borrowings which was the need of the hour. His elder brother then survived for a few months only. His younger brother suffered a lot. He had donated his kidney and put the rest of his life in danger forever. But his sacrifice went futile. Furthermore, there was a huge loan on his shoulder. He was cold feet and puzzled totally. Every cloud has a silver lining. There was a ray of hope as he had passed the departmental competitive examination for the next higher post. He then joined the new station in Gujarath. Every dog has its day. After a few years, he came back as boss to his old station. Then he married a beautiful girl. They had two kids. They were quite happy. 

       He was not enjoying his natural life because he was always under pressure due to health problems. He thought that what would happen if the single kidney stopped functioning. Unfortunately, his wife died during the second child. This incident mounted a large pressure on him. There was some family dispute between him and the family members of his wife. Instead of showing any sympathy and cooperation with him and his children. They blamed him for his wife’s death. Where there is a will, there is a way. Looking at these routine problems, he decided to go on transfer to headquarter in Delhi which was nearest to his hometown. It is of no use crying over spilled milk. He was managing there his office and caring for his children with aid of office colleagues. Fortune favors the bold. Let us hope that nature may not put any big hurdle in his further life in the future.
