Legend of the hidden emerald 1

 Long ago, in a tiny village lived a family. Park Chae-yeong also called Cherry was the youngest in the family. Cherry's grandfather taught her sword fighting and karate. Cherry was the only girl who had a dream to be a warier and save her village.

She wanted to be the 20th guardian of the hidden gem. 

She was just 10 and was trained since 3. After 12 years of training, she was capable of searching the gem. The Korean legend said-

A GIRL WILL COME TO FIND THE GEM AND MEET SOMEONE WHO SHE DIDN'T EVER MET

Not only Cherry but also many girls were trained.'' Eomma(Mom)!! I am going to the river for practice with my siblings. I will come in the evening for dinner!!'' All the siblings had actually gone to the river alone for staying away from their strict family. One of them sighed,'' Thank god we are away from our grandfather!! He is so strict and annoying!! I don't want to be warier, I would love to just do home chores. I have an idea, let's now tell all that we are not interested to become warier!!'' Cherry was on both sides, she wanted to find the gem and also not struggle with much work and training, she spoke,'' I guess we must not break our tradition. Grandmother told us, for ages this tradition is going on, each decade any person finds the gem! This time it's a girl and she has to find the lost Emerald!! Look at the river, at your reflection. Do you think you are very poor? Be confident. Come on guys, it's just a play! We have to participate in that and win the medal.''  

 What is special about the emerald?

Everyone was not satisfied by what cherry told, so they ignored her thoughts and changed the topic,'' We get very less time for ME time( Free time) let us play a game!! An adventure game, whoever will reach till that temple, will win. We have to run in 1 meter per second speed only and time is only 45 seconds for each of us and we can go in any starting point, but not near the temple, it depends upon our capacity.'' The eldest one-pointed. The race was about to start but Cherry was busy measuring the measurement of their starting line till the river, one asked,'' What are you doing Cherry, the race is about to start! Warm-up fast!!''. Cherry smiled,'' I am measuring the distance from my starting point till the temple, I will calculate the time and Speed and find my distance. Then I will choose the suitable starting point for me where are chances that I could win the race.''

Everyone was ready, and the race begin, Sarah was cheating as she was in full speed according to her capacity.

Sarah won, all of them decided to do it once more. All were tired, the race started but Cherry won. How?

THE LEGEND OF THE SURREPTITIOUS 

EMERALD

Few years passed...…

 

''The day is here!! I will go and find the hidden emerald! Grandfather give me blessings so I could win and find the emerald. You trained me for years, for the gem. But what's so special about it?'' Cherry remarked. Grandfather Shifu replied,'' Long ago...…. in our village there was an attack by the bad spirits. everything was going very bad, people were getting sick, many people died, many people lost their jobs, there was no sign of rain for two months, the epidemic was very sorrowful. Our ancestors prayed for the lord day and night, but their wishes were never true. The villagers decided to leave the place at once. But, there were thousands of people so few had to live with their families in that village itself.

Our ancestors and other villagers were safe in the other village, no one dared to go back to that sad village and not even any villager came from the sad village back again. So, you see, for ages we used to live there but now we live in a new village which is safe this village. Never go in that village as people think it's cursed.'' Cherry was curious and continued,'' But, grandfather where are those people who lived in that village? Did they die? or even they left to another place? and what's the connection between the gem and this village?''. Grandfather responded,'' No one knows where the other villagers are, we don't have any news. They were very few, just few people, but they were very daring. 

The connection between the gem and village is that once a tantric from India had visited the village while the epidemic. He told that the hidden gem is hidden in the Seoraksan mountain. This mountain still contains lava and it irrupts when sorrow is in that dreadful village. Every decade a person goes there, till now 19 people succeeded. The lava is still flowing, means the village is endangered.'' Cherry was getting ready for her adventure. The gem was surreptitious, means it was purposefully hidden by someone. '' Appa!(Dad) I am going, wish me luck.'' Cherry spoke. All the villagers were sad to let Cherry go. ''Bye Jamae (Sister) come back soon and all the best.'' Lia wished. 

Cherry had a lovely bond with her grandmother, so she took her grandmother's pink scarf and a compass. She had the map and started her journey. It was cloudy and Cherry was a bit nervous,'' It would probably rain. Good that I have an umbrella and Raincoat.''
