It is said that when man learned or is educated, he is supposed to take a wise decision at the crossed road of his life. when we get an education in our life. we should not be confined only to the prescribed syllabus by the board or authority. we should learn more by playing with our friends, just viewing the daily activities in society. Reading newspapers, television news, reading biography of our national as well as international heroes. It is true that we learned more from practical life. Practical life gives us a lot of experience. Such experiences help us to find an amicable solution to coming burning problems in life. The life span of our life is too short, if we try to learn only from our experiences then we would certainly miss the golden opportunities in our life. We would be definitely deprived of the progress. So it is better to learn more from other’s experiences. It is said that a man is clever when he learned from his as well as others experiences. But that man would be absolutely foolish when he did not learn from his as well as other experiences and always commit the same blunder in his life.

There was an employee employed in the central government who was posted fortunately in his native district. Everything was okay with him. He get married and had two daughters and a son. There was some parental property with him. It was an additional benefit to him. So he was well-settled there. He has not transferred anywhere since his posting at the present place. There was not any mass recruitment in the central government since two thousand onward. This might be a government strategy to reduce its employee due to increasing financial crises and salary burden due to successive pay commissions implementation after freedom. The government started atomization of work by computerization. There was a shortage of staff at every station in the various departments.

A man was posted at an unpopular station in the concerned department. The tenure of the unpopular station was only two years. That employee was there for last five years. He had already seen a number of transfers in his service till date. There was a sincere, genuine request from the employee to give him a station of his choice on transfer. No doubt, it was his legitimate claim. So the office was bound to transfer him to a station of his choice. Administration transferred that employee who was never transferred from the joining of the service to the unpopular station. An employee from the unpopular station joined at his choice of station. This man who was transferred to unpopular station applied for leave. The office thought that after availing of the leave, he would join the station. The office sent an employee to the unpopular station on tour to manage the station till he joined. That gentleman was extending the leave continuously on domestic ground. He was then warned if he did not obey the office order. Then he had to face disciplinary action against him. The office had not granted him further leave. Then he proceeds on medical leave with a government doctor’s certificate. When he used this facility for a long time, the officer asked him to face the medical board for a medical problem. The medical board casually examine him and forwarded the report to the office that he was fit and could perform duty to save their doctor. Office trapped him from all corners. It was crystal clear to him that office would take disciplinary action against him for violation of office order.

It was true that his station was also facing a manpower shortage. Rest of staff of the station was also in favor of cancellation of his transfer. They might be supporting him .The ball was in his court. Then he thought that there was an acute shortage of man power at every station in region. Some funny, foolish and wonderful idea was generated in his foolish brain. It might be possible that one of his well wisher who was Wolf in sheep’s clothing misguided him. He submitted his resignation to the department. As per procedure, it was forwarded to headquarter. The head quarter awaited his further correspondence about his decision for period of three months. None of his office colleague from the regional office ever take such extreme foolish step in the past. They asked him to withdraw his resignation by submitting an application before the expiry of the valid period. They suggested that he should obey the order. He was cold shoulder to their suggestions. He thought that office would not accept his resignation due to shortage of staff and cancelled his transfer. He was under a very bad impression. Curiosity killed the cat due to his such decision.

If he was on ball about the employment problem of youths in the country, he would have not taken such immature decision. He took it with a pinch of salt. When the period of three months from the date submission of his resignation was over. Headquarters accepted his resignation. when he received such order from the office, he was cold feet. This was underwater result from his expectation. The situation was out of control. Then he was doing everything to save job. It was elbow grease job for him. But office not paid any attention to his request. He lost every thing because the condition was not favorable to him. He could not get another job anywhere due to over-aged.

He made hay when sun was shining in service. Sound amount in form of salary every month stopped forever. The monthly salary was his cash cow. There was no other sources like salary with him. Day by day, his financial condition was deteriorating constantly. They lived hand to mouth. There was no credit in the society which was respecting him few day ago . He and his family came on road to beg. He came to the regional office with his family. Everybody felt pity for them. But nobody could do anything for him. The Head of the office straightway refused to meet with him. He went back empty hand from every door which was open for him earlier.
