This Christmas Eve

For Rohan it had been a tiring day. He loved going to school. Not only because he excelled in studies and was his teachers favorite but also as he represented his school in the dramatics competition too. This year was special he was going to play the character of spider man in a special musical skit. He was super excited about the whole thing. It was like a dream come true for him. He got his costume ready learned his lines well. He even learned how to sing as the play was a musical. 

With great power comes great responsibility. I know courage and bravery are the pride of a soldier. My word means the world to me. To save humanity I will battle till my last breath. 

As Rohan entered the stage in his red Spiderman costume he delivered this short speech. 

But as destiny would have it suddenly he slipped and twisted his ankle. But Rohan was a fighter he got up and completed his part not once did he let pain stop him. Quite gracefully he completed his part and the curtain fell down. The whole auditorium was filled with applause. He limped back but his face had the smile of a champion.
